Sweather is a Swedish-style bakery café on Donggyo-ro 38-gil in Yeonnam-dong, a short walk from Exit 3 of Hongik University Station. You pick pastries onto a tray on the ground floor, pay with your drink, take a buzzer and climb to seats on the second or third floor. An americano is 5,000 won, the Swedish salt roll 3,900 won, and buns run 5,000 to 8,000 won; the matcha bun is what people ate most. What sets it apart
- Eleven posts call it spacious, and they say why: some came here on purpose to avoid cramped cafés on a Hongdae weekend, and one grabbed a big sofa on the third floor. It still fills up — one post found the second floor full and got the last seat on the third, and on a rainy weekend another was about to leave when a staff member pointed them to a seat that had just opened.

The seats are upstairs: 15 posts say there are seats on the second and third floors. One post counted about five tables on the second floor and about ten on the third, with ordering and the pastry display on the ground floor. The third floor has sofa seats; the second has big wooden tables beside the baking room.
Three posts describe ordering on the ground floor, so this is not a basement shop. Two business-licence lists give the address as basement level 1, but that is copied data and does not match what visitors saw.
No post says whether there is a step at the door or a lift. That means nobody wrote about it, not that there is none. Seating is only on the second and third floors, and posts describe steep, narrow stairs and sore legs from climbing to the third floor.
Four posts put the restroom inside the shop on the third floor; two of them say it is split by gender, and one adds it is single-occupancy.

Of the 29 posts we gathered, 10 went up on a single day right after a TV spot and show no sign of a visit. They retell the broadcast, so we left them out of the counts.

What we do not know
- No post describes queuing to get in, so we don't know. Some posts did struggle to find a seat on weekend afternoons.
- Power outlets are disputed: one post says outlet seats are well provided, another says there are few. Both went up the same day in the same FAQ-style template.
- Twelve posts went with friends. Visits with children or alone are rare, so we know little about those.
- Opening hours changed. June–July posts say 9am–8pm daily; posts from mid-August say 10am–9pm daily, and two posts from late July and early August say 11am–9pm. Most of these are copied from the listing, and no post mentions a closing day.
- Many posts just copy the menu board. A drink and a pastry come to about 10,000 won — one post paid 9,800 won for a scone and an americano. The matcha bun (8,000 or 7,500 won) and kataifi salt roll (7,500 or 5,300 won) are listed at different prices.
- Four posts list the phone number 02-2138-0828, mostly copied from the listing. 'No reservations' also appears only in copied tables, so it is unconfirmed.
- Pastries can sell out early: posts found the display nearly empty by 5pm, a half-empty counter, and a wanted item sold out. Free americano refills (Mon–Thu 11am–3pm), 20% off takeaway pastries for dine-in guests and the 11am/3pm baking times are the shop's own notices, which we report but did not count.
