GOD EAT

갓잇 연남점 Gasit Yeonnam-jeom God Eat is a chain name the brand explains as food tasty and healthy enough for a god to eat, with a play on 'got it'.

Compiled from 22 blog posts read in fullSources →

The Yeonnam branch of GOD EAT, a Mexican chain, on a side street off Seongmisan-ro near the Gyeongui Line Forest Park. Most people order a two-person set; twelve posts had the fajita & taco set (42,000 won), wrapping meat, shrimp and rice from a sizzling platter into tortillas themselves, ordering from a tablet at each table. From late September 2026, seven posts ordered the new GOD chimichanga (15,000 won). We read 30 posts dated 24 August to 27 October 2026; after setting aside five about other branches or the brand, 23 of the remaining 25 describe an actual visit.

Counted from what bloggers wrote in their posts; we did not confirm it with the restaurant. Where the values differ, it may be a change over time rather than a disagreement, so we show when each one was written.

What sets it apart

  1. Nine posts mentioned a hand-washing sink by the self-service station in the dining room, so you can wash up after eating tacos by hand without going to the toilet. Several also noted disposable gloves, hair ties and wet wipes laid out there.
  2. Ten posts mentioned the terrace, with a folding glass front that opens fully in good weather. Two posts said the terrace holds just two two-seat tables; one counted three four-seat and seven two-seat tables inside.
  3. Five posts got extra tortillas or sauce at no charge; one finished off leftover meat and shrimp with free tortilla refills. Another said the tortillas came cut small enough that they never needed more.
  4. No post describes actually waiting. Four walked straight in — at 6:20 pm on a Saturday, on a public holiday, and before the dinner rush. Four booked ahead through Naver or Catch Table. Three noted umbrellas lent to people queuing outside, but the talk of long lines was general description, not anyone's experience.

Posts saying you cannot3 of 22 posts

Three posts said in their own words that there is no dedicated parking and pointed to the Yeonnam-dong community centre lot (1,500 won per 30 minutes) or street-side public spaces; the other 'no parking' notes are copied listings. No post clearly says they drove.

Posts variously call it the ground floor, the 1.5th floor or the second floor, but they mean the same raised level about half a storey above the street. The six posts that described the stairs agree it is not a basement.

The address says ground floor, but there are stairs to the door. Six posts described climbing a flight on the right side of the building, about half a storey up. One family who came with a stroller wrote that they hadn't checked because it was listed as ground floor, and were caught out by the stairs.

No post mentions a lift or ramp, and no one described getting in with a wheelchair. The one family with a stroller found the stairs a problem. That doesn't mean there's no other way in — just that nobody wrote about one.

Four posts said the toilet is inside the restaurant, and several mentioned mouthwash, floss and cotton swabs set out there. One described it as a single-occupancy room with a bidet, so it is apparently not split by gender.

No one mentioned: Second floor · Lift to the floor · Ramp at the door · Accessible toilet. That is not the same as there being none — it means we could not confirm it. Worth calling ahead, and do tell us: we will put it here.

Posts that followed a TV spot

Of the 24 posts we gathered, 2 went up on a single day right after a TV spot and show no sign of a visit. They retell the broadcast, so we left them out of the counts.

We do not discard them. That a TV spot produced a burst of posts is itself something worth knowing about a place, and a star rating will not show it.

What we do not know

  • Three posts described getting there on foot or by bus — walking from Hongik University Station exit 3 along the Gyeongui Line Forest Park, or getting off a bus on the Yeonhui-dong side and walking about seven minutes. The '898 m from the station' figure is copied from the listing.
  • Seventeen visit posts list opening hours, mostly copied from the listing, and they nearly all agree: daily 11:00–21:30, weekday break 15:00–16:30, last order 20:30 (weekday lunch last order 14:10), no break at weekends. One post gave the break as 15:00–16:00. None mentions a closing day.
  • Prices are as of September–October 2026. Two people paid 47,500 won for the fajita & taco set plus a sauce sampler and a cola; another pair paid 55,000 won for a chimichanga, a fajita and two ades; one post paid 28,000 won for a chimichanga and two ades. One post called the prices reasonable; none called them expensive.
  • The phone number 0507-1312-9451 is copied in many posts. Four posts made a reservation through Naver Booking or Catch Table.
  • Some posts look like they come from the same template: six carry the identical hashtags for 'Yeonnam family dining' and 'Yeonnam weekend dining', and two more repeat the phrasing in the text. That group keeps saying the place is good for children, but only one post actually went with a child, and two mentioned getting a high chair. One post disclosed a free meal voucher. Claims about TV appearances are hearsay and not counted.
  • The chimichanga was added as a new item in late September 2026; posts before 29 September don't mention it.
