Yunine Gogitgan

유니네 고깃간 Yunine means 'Yuni's place', and gogitgan is an old Korean word for a butcher's shop.

Compiled from 20 blog posts read in fullSources →

A pork barbecue house in the side street behind Gangnam Station exit 11 (Gangnam-daero 98-gil 12, ground floor), where staff grill belly, neck and gabrisal for you from start to finish. Pairs order the 400g couple set (45,000 won in four posts from September–October 2026) or the version with scallop and Imsil cheese (64,000 won); groups take the 700g family set (79,000 won). Most add the cheongjang stew (doenjang with cheonggukjang, ordered in 12 posts) and cold kimchi noodles. Tables have charcoal grills, and two posts note that no lettuce wraps are served. We read 30 posts from 5 February to 17 October 2026; 20 of them, from 23 July to 17 October, describe a visit. Six posts were about other businesses, including the izakaya upstairs, and were set aside.

Counted from what bloggers wrote in their posts; we did not confirm it with the restaurant. Where the values differ, it may be a change over time rather than a disagreement, so we show when each one was written.

What sets it apart

  1. All 20 visit posts say the staff did the grilling. Several describe the same order — neck first, cooked thick like a steak, then belly and gabrisal — with finished meat split onto separate plates by cut. One post says each person got a small plate of their own; another notes that meat set aside on plates can go cold.
  2. Twelve posts call the meat thick and twelve mention it being juicy. One notes the thickness means grilling takes a while. Two posts say there was no gamey smell.
  3. Six posts say the tables are well spaced or the room is large, and four mention the big windows or a window seat. Two say the chairs have storage for bags or coats. Three call it not noisy; one, visiting on a busy weekday evening, says it was too crowded to be quiet.
  4. Two posts say they waited, on a Friday evening and a weekend evening. One went at the 2pm weekday opening on a Friday and sat straight down; one thought there was a queue on a Saturday evening. One post describes waiting chairs and a handwritten waiting list outside, and two saw a notice limiting tables to two hours when people are waiting.

  1. Four posts booked ahead. One checked Naver booking and found slots closed from 6:30 to 8pm; it passes on, as something the owner said, that Monday to Wednesday peak bookings can sometimes be arranged by phone.
  2. Three posts ordered on a table tablet or kiosk. Three mention the review event (extra meat or mushrooms for posting a review); one says the couple set alone would have been a bit small without the free portion.

Parking

Posts saying you cannot2 of 20 posts

No post arrived by car. Two say there is no dedicated parking, and several point to nearby paid lots (such as the Yeoksam Culture Park public lot at 300 won per 5 minutes). The copied 'parking available' tags were not counted.

We could not find this shop’s own listing on Naver Map, so the link searches for its Korean name around this spot instead.

Getting inside

Step at the entrance1 of 20 posts

No post states the floor from experience; only the address says ground floor. One post mentions climbing entrance steps. The second floor of the same building is a different business.

Nobody says whether a wheelchair or pushchair can get in. That means unknown, not impossible. One post mentions entrance steps, and one says the shop sits on a slight slope.

No post describes actually using the toilet. The copied info lines disagree: one says it is a building toilet outside the shop, separated by sex; another says it is inside.

No one mentioned: Second floor · In a basement · Lift to the floor · Ramp at the door · Step-free access · Toilet inside · Accessible toilet · Separate restrooms. That is not the same as there being none — it means we could not confirm it. Worth calling ahead, and do tell us: we will put it here.

Posts that followed a TV spot

Of the 24 posts we gathered, 4 went up on a single day right after a TV spot and show no sign of a visit. They retell the broadcast, so we left them out of the counts.

We do not discard them. That a TV spot produced a burst of posts is itself something worth knowing about a place, and a star rating will not show it.

What we do not know

  • Sixteen visit posts give opening hours, all copied from listings. Twelve agree on 2pm–11pm on weekdays and noon–11pm at weekends; one swaps weekday and weekend. That means no weekday lunch, so check before going.
  • Prices agree across September–October 2026 posts, but one July post's menu (couple set 49,000 won, stew 8,000 won, naengmyeon and fried rice) matches neither those nor another July post saying there is no naengmyeon. A 25 September post also gives the stew at 8,000 won. We cannot tell whether prices changed or were copied wrongly.
  • Posts disagree on the third cut in the family set: three say gabrisal, two say jowl.
  • Of the 20 visit posts, four disclose a free visit, meal voucher or hosted tasting, and 13 say nothing about payment. Lines about free tartare for wedding-invitation gatherings, free wine corkage and the shop's careful cut selection recur across posts; they repeat the shop's own promotion and we did not count them. Many posts give the same phone number, 0507-1345-1806.
