A charcoal-grill place for beef and lamb on the second floor of the Yeokjeon Halmeoni Maekju building, in the alley off Gangnam Station exit 11. Most people order a two-person set: the Yuklab set (boneless short rib, hanger steak, lamb rack) at 67,000 won or the galbi set (boneless short rib, lamb rack, garlic-marinated short rib) at 64,000 won, both with doenjang stew and grilling cheese. Charcoal goes into a grill at each table and you cook the meat yourself; the dark interior has a bar counter, partitioned tables and private group rooms. We read 30 posts from March to October 2026: 28 describe actual visits and 2 are entries in Gangnam top-20 lists.

What sets it apart
- Eleven posts said the lamb had no gamey smell, including one writer who called herself sensitive to it. The 'lamb under 12 months' and 'halal certified' lines are the restaurant's own copy, repeated by bloggers, and we didn't count them.
- Thirteen posts booked ahead, through Naver or CatchTable, and many found the side dishes and sauces already set out on arrival. One writer, though, arrived for a 4 pm booking to find the door still locked. Several posts give the same phone number, 02-557-3145.
- Eleven posts mention private group rooms at the back; one says a room seats about 12. Posts also keep mentioning partitions between the hall tables, and there's a bar counter lined with spirits by the entrance.
- Seven posts ordered from a tablet or kiosk at the table. Many say the staff explain the grilling order when the meat arrives (short rib first, marinated rib last) and tell you to melt the cheese on top of the vegetables so it doesn't drip through the grate.

Posts disagree on the lift: one says there is no elevator and you take the stairs, another describes the elevator doors opening onto the restaurant. A few more posts mention walking up the stairs. Eleven posts mention going up to the second floor.
No post mentions a step at the door or getting in with a wheelchair or stroller. The restaurant is up a floor and several people took the stairs, so it's worth calling ahead to ask.
Four posts say the restrooms are inside the restaurant and three say they're separate for men and women, one stall each. Writers also mention they were clean.

Posts that followed a TV spot
Of the 28 posts we gathered, 2 went up on a single day right after a TV spot and show no sign of a visit. They retell the broadcast, so we left them out of the counts.
We do not discard them. That a TV spot produced a burst of posts is itself something worth knowing about a place, and a star rating will not show it.

What we do not know
- You grill your own meat: three posts say so outright. One post said the owner grilled for them because they came early, so that seems to happen only when it's quiet.
- Nobody wrote about queuing. That doesn't mean there's never a line — most of these visitors had booked ahead. One post said it was busy even on a weekday evening.
- Opinions on value are split. One post called the 67,000-won two-person set a real bargain and another said they ate their fill for about 30,000 won each. A party of three, though, added extra short rib and garlic rib plus drinks to a three-person set and paid 206,900 won, writing that the bill shot up fast. Set prices didn't change between March and October.
- All the opening hours are copied from listings. Fourteen posts give 4-11 pm on weekdays and 3-11 pm at weekends, last order 10 pm; three say 4-11 pm every day, one says 3-11 pm every day, and one says only Saturday opens at 3. No post mentions a closing day. One visitor noted the kitchen was effectively winding down from 9:40 pm, ahead of the 10 pm last order.
- Much of this reads like sponsored content. No post discloses payment and only one mentions a discount, but many end with the same Naver Place link, the same hashtags and the same grilling-order spiel, and one still contains template instructions and a verdict on pork belly, which this place doesn't serve. So we counted what people actually did — dishes, prices, seating — not how much they said they liked it.
