Neopttakjip Yeoksam
넙딱집 역삼점 Neopttak suggests something broad and flat and jip means house; the shop says the name comes from slicing its meat out wide and being generous.

A charcoal-briquette pork grill on the ground floor of 333 Nonhyeon-ro, Gangnam, part of a strip of shops near the old Yeoksam tax office intersection that all set tables out on the sidewalk. It is the Yeoksam branch of the Neopttakjip chain. The most-ordered dish is the 450g four-cut platter (39,000 won), eaten in nine posts; the 750g five-cut platter (65,000 won) appears in three. You grill it yourself on a domed round plate over the briquettes, with aged kimchi around the rim. We read 30 posts from February 2025 to October 2026; 19 are about this shop and all 19 describe an actual meal. The other 11 were about neighbouring shops in the same building or other branches (Samsong, Ilsan, Singil), and we set them aside.

Counted from what bloggers wrote in their posts; we did not confirm it with the restaurant. Where the values differ, it may be a change over time rather than a disagreement, so we show when each one was written.
What sets it apart
- Eleven of the 19 posts describe sitting at the sidewalk tables. Inside is small: four posts say so, counting about eight tables. February and early-April visitors ate inside because of the cold, and one early-May group sat inside because every outdoor table was taken. One post said the smoke outdoors made their eyes sting.
- Two posts waited: 40 minutes (September, arriving before 7 pm) and 30 minutes. An October visitor walked straight in but noted the tables filled within half an hour. The same post says shops on this strip keep no waiting list; you stand out front until a table opens.
- Five posts remark on how thick the cuts are and three on how juicy. A September 2025 post singled out the kkodeulsal's thickness; one post noted no gamey smell.
- Four posts come from repeat visits: one writer was on an nth visit in February 2025, another says they keep coming back, and one family went in late April and returned with their son on May 5.

Where it is

We could not find this shop’s own listing on Naver Map, so the link searches for its Korean name around this spot instead.

Getting inside
No post describes the floor or any steps from experience; the 'ground floor' is only in the registered address. That isn't a no, just that nobody wrote about it.
Nobody mentions a threshold or getting in with a wheelchair or stroller. Posts say the outdoor tables sit along the roadside, but we know nothing about the surface.
No post says whether the toilet is inside or separated by gender. A post about a neighbouring shop in the building mentions a toilet, but we didn't count it for this one.
No one mentioned: Second floor · In a basement · Lift to the floor · Ramp at the door · Step at the entrance · Step-free access · Toilet inside · Accessible toilet · Separate restrooms. That is not the same as there being none — it means we could not confirm it. Worth calling ahead, and do tell us: we will put it here.

What we do not know
- In February 2025 a post said posting a photo on Instagram or Facebook earned a free drink; by May 2026 the owner told a diner the Instagram offer had ended and to write a receipt review instead. We don't know what is offered now. Salted shrimp was among the side dishes in February 2025; an April 2026 post noticed it was gone.
- Prices held steady from February 2025 to October 2026: 39,000 won for the platter, 65,000 for the large one. One pair paid 70,000 won for the platter plus extra belly, neck and cold noodles. An October post said prices had changed since its menu photo but didn't say what.
- Opinions split on the walk. One post calls it close to Yeoksam Station and another got off the bus at the old tax office intersection; one says it's a bit of a walk from Yeoksam and another took a taxi from Yangjae. The 8- and 10-minute walking times appear only in copied info blocks.
- Both posts with a child come from the same family, written in late April and on May 5; their son liked the pork skin. Nobody mentions high chairs or children's tableware.
- Ten posts give the same hours, 5 pm to 3 am, almost all copied from info blocks or the map listing. Seven say daily, one says weekdays, two give no days; only a February 2025 post mentions a 10:30 pm last order. No post mentions a closing day.
- Two posts copy the phone number 0507-1436-1181. One post heard that phone reservations are possible; nobody describes booking.
- One August 2026 post reads like a template (it calls August 'between spring and summer' and mentions charcoal at a briquette grill), and an October post pastes the shop's own blurb about 14 years of sourcing and in-house distribution. We treat the 'premium Jeju pork' sign and the sourcing claims as the shop's own words, not evidence.
