CoCo Ichibanya Gangnam is a branch of the Japanese curry chain in the Hanseok Tower at 456 Gangnam-daero, between Sinnonhyeon and Gangnam stations. You pick a base curry or omelette rice, add toppings such as pork cutlet, chicken or croquette, and choose the rice portion and spice level. Prices in the posts run from 7,900 won for plain curry to 13,100 won for the pork cutlet curry and 14,200 won for the chicken cream omelette; one post paid 17,000 won with a topping added. We read 30 posts from September 18, 2025 to October 26, 2026; 9 of them describe eating here. Only one post gives the floor: the second floor of Hanseok Tower. Four other check-ins read 'lobby floor', but that is address text and we did not count it. Nobody says whether you go up by lift or stairs.

What we do not know
- Spice splits two to two. There are five levels from mild to 'challenge'. The two posts that found it hot picked the Cheongyang-pepper level and the fourth level; the two that did not picked medium and slightly spicy. The difference follows the level chosen.
- On price, one post found it a bit expensive, one found it reasonable, and one warned that adding toppings pushes the bill up. Meals the posts paid for ranged from 11,700 to 17,000 won.
- One post rated it low: the curry was middle-of-the-road, there were no scallion or garlic-flake toppings like other curry shops offer, and the sausages tasted frozen. The same post noticed that on the weekend most customers were foreigners.
- Only one post describes waiting: arriving around 11:30 on a weekday they walked straight in, but soon after a long line formed. No other post mentions waiting, which means nobody wrote about it, not that there is none.
- Apart from the four solo visits, nothing adds up on company: one post went with an 'oppa', and none mention friends, family or a group.
- Opening hours were copied by three posts and differ: all three close at 21:00 and two give last orders at 20:30, but opening time is given as 10:30, 11:00 and 10:45. No post mentions a closing day.
- Only one post copied a phone number (02-558-0825), and nobody says whether the shop takes reservations.
- Two posts give a different address: a November 2025 post wrote 809-10 Yeoksam-dong and a September 2026 post wrote 35 Bongeunsa-ro 2-gil near exit 4, though both checked in at 456 Gangnam-daero. A December 2025 post places it in the brown building by exit 6 and an October 2026 post on the second floor of Hanseok Tower.
