Jusindang Gangnam-jeom
주신당 강남점 Jusindang began as a bar in Sindang-dong; one post says the name reworks that neighborhood's old sense, 'the place that serves the gods', around the twelve zodiac gods, and -dang means a hall or shrine.

A cocktail bar in a basement off Gangnam-daero 96-gil, near exit 11 of Gangnam Station, serving cocktails named after the twelve zodiac animals with Korean fusion dishes, plus lunch courses. Posts list cocktails at 17,000-19,000 won, potato pancake and gondeure noodles at 19,000, sous-vide short rib at 45,000, lunch course B at 23,000 and course D at 50,000 per person. Several posts describe the dark, underwater-palace interior and getting a cocktail picked from your saju (birth-date fortune) via a QR code or table card. We read 14 posts from 31 August to 20 October 2026; 9 record an actual visit. Of the other 5, four are near-identical promotional pieces sharing the same hashtags and one is a roundup of ten bars, and we did not count them.

Counted from what bloggers wrote in their posts; we did not confirm it with the restaurant. Where the values differ, it may be a change over time rather than a disagreement, so we show when each one was written.
What sets it apart
- There are private rooms. Five posts mention them and two sat in one: a group who booked and were given a room for a wedding-invitation dinner, and a couple with a three-year-old who were shown to a room so they need not worry about other guests. Two others sat at the bar and liked watching the bartenders work.
- Two posts say food came slowly: a course-D group said the kitchen was so slow they gave up on a second venue, and another put the wait down to how busy it was.
- One post came with a child: a couple and their three-year-old had course C and beer, and a high chair was provided. Another post lists high chairs only in a copied info block, which we did not count.
- Two posts got ice cream for writing a Naver review, and both liked it.

Where it is

We could not find this shop’s own listing on Naver Map, so the link searches for its Korean name around this spot instead.

Getting inside
| In a basement | 6 of 9 posts |
|---|
You go down stairs to a basement. Six posts describe the descent, one likening the blue-lit staircase to sinking underwater and another finding it a bit eerie.
We do not know about wheelchair or pushchair access. Two posts mention stairs down to the basement, but none mentions a lift or a step at the door. That means nobody wrote about it, not that there is none.
No one described where the toilets are; separate men's and women's toilets appear only in one copied info block.
No one mentioned: Second floor · Lift to the floor · Ramp at the door · Step at the entrance · Step-free access · Toilet inside · Accessible toilet · Separate restrooms. That is not the same as there being none — it means we could not confirm it. Worth calling ahead, and do tell us: we will put it here.

Posts that followed a TV spot
Of the 14 posts we gathered, 5 went up on a single day right after a TV spot and show no sign of a visit. They retell the broadcast, so we left them out of the counts.

We do not discard them. That a TV spot produced a burst of posts is itself something worth knowing about a place, and a star rating will not show it.

What we do not know
- Posts split on price: two call it expensive, one calls it good value, having found that the 35,000-won course C covered two people rather than one.
- On portions it is one against one: one post found the potato pancake pizza-sized, another said the lunch course was not generous though it was enough. One course-D post found the rice and noodle mains small.
- Two posts describe the walk: about three minutes from exit 11 of Gangnam Station, with a slight slope on the way per one. No one mentions a bus.
- Only one post mentions waiting: no queue on a public-holiday Monday evening. Two others had booked ahead. We do not know how long waits are at busy times.
- Most went with friends (four posts); one sat alone at the bar, one came as a family with a toddler, and one was a group wedding-invitation dinner.
- Opening hours agree across seven posts: daily 11:00 to 02:00, with a 15:00-17:00 break. But six of those are copied info blocks, and the one post that wrote them itself left out the break. That lunch courses A and B are weekday-only appears only in one info block. Five posts give the same phone number, 0507-1349-4225; booking via Naver and CatchTable is mentioned only in one info block.
- Four posts from 10-12 October 2026 share the same seven hashtags in the same order and list office dinners, blind dates, wedding-invitation gatherings and private rooms without naming a single dish or price. We treated them as commissioned copy and did not count them.
