강남진해장 Haejang means 'easing a hangover', as in haejangguk (hangover soup); the posts do not explain the 'jin' in the name.

A hangover-soup and tripe hot pot house on Teheran-ro 5-gil, a few minutes' walk from exits 11 and 12 of Gangnam Station. Tripe-and-blood-curd soup is 13,000 won, the fiery jin-eolkeuntang 15,000 won, offal soup 16,000 won, and a medium tripe hot pot for two or three 69,000 won. Kimchi and radish kimchi come in crocks to serve yourself, with a dipping sauce for the meat. Ten posts list opening hours, and most say it is open around the clock. We read 17 posts dated May 23 to October 26, 2026: two were about other restaurants (Jungang Haejang in Samseong-dong and the Garak branch) and were set aside, four were lists or roundups, and eleven describe an actual meal here.

Unusually for Gangnam Station, there is a lot in front of the door. Five posts mention it from their own visit, one diner's partner drove (so only she drank), and an evening visitor found it empty. The only figure for capacity is hearsay: five cars. When it is full, several posts point to the paid Yeoksam Culture Park public lot, with no validation.

No post says from experience what floor it is on. The address lists the ground floor, one post says you walk up a hill to reach it, and another says there are entrances front and back.
No one mentions whether there is a step at the entrance or whether a wheelchair or stroller can get in. That doesn't mean it can't; we just don't know.

What we do not know
- Waits are unclear. Two posts, one at 1 p.m. on a weekend and one in the evening, didn't wait at all. A regular weekday-lunch visitor says the place is always full but turns tables fast. Another post warns of long lunch lines, but that writer went in the morning and didn't wait. No one gives a wait time in minutes.
- How hot the jin-eolkeuntang is depends on who you ask: one post calls it brutally spicy, another says it's only a bit hotter than Shin Ramyun, and a third skipped it after staff warned it was hot. Two posts say the tripe-and-blood-curd soup is not spicy.
- Ten posts give opening hours, and most just say 24 hours. Two say it closes on Sunday night (9:30 or 10 p.m.) and reopens at 6:30 a.m. Monday, one of them noting it copied this from an online listing, and a third tells readers to check Sunday-night hours. Three posts say it never closes, and one says it shuts on holidays such as Lunar New Year's Day. Check before going late on a Sunday.
- Prices have gone up: a reposted 2019 listing gives 9,000 won for the tripe-and-blood-curd soup and 49,000 won for a medium tripe hot pot, while 2026 posts say 13,000 and 69,000 won. No post calls it expensive, and one calls it good value.
- Six posts list the phone number 02-557-2662. Whether reservations are taken is unknown; only one copied info block says to call and ask.
- The Sung Si-kyung YouTube appearance, the Blue Ribbon award, and the claim that a former Jungang Haejang chef opened the place are the restaurant's own claims or hearsay, so we mention them without relying on them. Three roundup posts follow the same template, and one visit post reads like promotional copy, so we counted only what its writer actually experienced.
