Dangol Sonnim Gangnam 1-hojeom

단골손님 강남1호점 Dangol sonnim means 'regular customer'; this is the first Gangnam branch of a chain of Korean pubs by that name.

Compiled from 6 blog posts read in fullSources →

A Korean-style pub on the second floor of a building on Teheran-ro 1-gil, near Exit 11 of Gangnam Station, and one branch of a chain of the same name. People come for large drinking dishes such as the Hwangje hot pot (29,000 won) and cockle-and-tartare bibimbap (28,500 won) with soju at 5,000 won a bottle, sitting at partitioned tables and ordering by QR code. We read 15 posts from February 2025 to October 2026; 6 of them, from January to October 2026, record an actual meal. One post was about a different branch and was set aside.

Counted from what bloggers wrote in their posts; we did not confirm it with the restaurant. Where the values differ, it may be a change over time rather than a disagreement, so we show when each one was written.

What sets it apart

  1. Orders go through a QR code on the table — five of the six visiting posts said so. One noted there is no call button, so every extra order or request has to go through the QR page, which they found tedious.
  2. There are dedicated window seats. Two posts sat there and both found the windows open; one likened it to drinking outdoors. One said you can choose window or regular seating when booking; another thought window seats were bookable but simply walked in and sat down.
  3. No one reported waiting. One post arrived around 7 p.m. on a Friday with no queue; another came around 5 p.m. on a Saturday and found it fairly empty.
  4. A free starter snack arrives; three posts mentioned it, and two described it as puffed macaroni-style crackers.

Getting inside

Second floor2 of 6 posts
In a basementyes 0 · no 2 (of 6 posts read)
Toilet inside1 of 6 posts

Two posts noted the pub is on the second floor, but no visitor said whether there is a step at the entrance or whether a wheelchair or stroller can get in. A line about an elevator comes from the shop's own write-up, so we don't rely on it.

One post says the restroom is inside the pub. Separate men's and women's restrooms appear only in copied info blocks, not in anyone's own account.

No one mentioned: Lift to the floor · Ramp at the door · Step at the entrance · Step-free access · Accessible toilet · Separate restrooms. That is not the same as there being none — it means we could not confirm it. Worth calling ahead, and do tell us: we will put it here.

Posts that followed a TV spot

Of the 14 posts we gathered, 8 went up on a single day right after a TV spot and show no sign of a visit. They retell the broadcast, so we left them out of the counts.

We do not discard them. That a TV spot produced a burst of posts is itself something worth knowing about a place, and a star rating will not show it.

What we do not know

  • One post says a server spilled broth while bringing the hot pot and walked off without answering or wiping it up. No other post commented on the staff.
  • Five visiting posts list opening hours as 4 p.m. to 3 a.m. daily, but all copy them from the same info block. Only one gives last orders at 2 a.m. and no closing day, and a promotional post we didn't count says 4 a.m. Check before going.
  • Meal cost depends on what you order: two people paid 58,000 won for the hot pot, beef tartare and three bottles of soju; another pair spent 40,500 won on bibimbap and pancakes before drinks. The cockle-and-pork platter appears at 29,000 won in the shop's August 2025 listing and 29,900 won in a January 2026 post. One post called prices 'not especially cheap'.
  • Five posts list the phone number as 0507-1347-9470; one promotional post we didn't count gives 02-2061-6712. Visitors say reservations can be made through Naver Booking.
