Beyonder Gangnam is a dining bar in the basement of a building on Yeoksam-ro 7-gil, a short walk down a side street from Gangnam Station exit 4. It serves pasta and chuck-flap steak with wine, highballs and draught beer, and at 7 and 9 p.m. the staff who cook and serve step onto a small stage for a free set. The most-ordered dish is the steak with ratatouille (38,000 won), followed by the paprika oil pasta (22,000), the creamy beef rigatoni (23,000) and kkakdugi kimchi fried rice (16,000). What sets it apart
- People come for the music. Twenty-four posts describe seeing a set. The singers aren't hired acts but the staff — 'the server turned out to be the singer', 'the chef who cooked our food got up on stage'. Most posts say about 30 minutes at 7 and 9; one said about 20 minutes, another that a promised 30 ran close to 45. The 17 August writer left without seeing anything because the 7 o'clock set was pushed to 7:30. Several mention a draw where slips go in a box and a table wins a drink.
- Eight posts say the ceiling is high for a basement — 'you could call it two storeys'. It's fitted with a galaxy-style light panel and chandeliers; the room is dim with light on the tables.

It's one floor below ground and people walk down. Twenty posts describe going down. On the stairs: 'quite steep, careful', 'risky in heels', 'the stairs were high, a bit scary'. Two posts say a separate street entrance on the left side of the building leads straight down.
Nobody wrote about getting in with a wheelchair or stroller, and nobody took a lift down; one post only heard there may be a route through the building's interior. That's an absence of reports, not evidence there's no access.
Only one post covered the toilets: outside the dining room through a fire door, separate for men and women. Three mention a powder room inside for washing hands and touching up. Other posts' 'separate toilets' lines are copied from the listing.

Posts that followed a TV spot
Of the 30 posts we gathered, 2 went up on a single day right after a TV spot and show no sign of a visit. They retell the broadcast, so we left them out of the counts.
We do not discard them. That a TV spot produced a burst of posts is itself something worth knowing about a place, and a star rating will not show it.

What we do not know
- Nobody reported queuing; one post booked through CatchTable and was seated straight away. But tables fill up as showtime nears — 'full apart from the bar by 6:30', 'quiet at six, filling up toward seven'. That means nobody wrote about a queue, not that there never is one.
- Most posts list weekday hours of 11:00–24:00 with a 14:00–17:00 break, weekends 17:00–24:00 and last orders at 23:00 — nearly all copied from the listing. Three disagree: evenings only every day (21 Oct), Saturday lunch open with only Sunday starting at 17:00 (18 Oct), and Thursday–Friday from 17:00 (20 Sep). No one went at lunchtime, so weekday daytime opening is unconfirmed.
- Prices are from posts dated August–October 2026. One couple paid 60,000 won for the oil pasta and steak plus 9,500 for a glass of house wine. Nobody called it expensive; two posts said it was good value or that the house wine was cheap. A sponsored post from 3 September listed the steak at 48,000 and gave a different address, phone number and a Sunday closure, so we treated it as mixing in another venue's details and left its prices out.
- Several posts give the same phone number, 0507-1488-8866. Bookings were made through Naver Booking or CatchTable; four posts reserved ahead. Corkage at 30,000 won a bottle and the 'Michelin chef' line come from the venue's own promotion, and we didn't rely on them.
- There's a template at work: the same hashtag set and CatchTable blurb recur across posts, and some describe the seating and entrance in near-identical sentences. Two posts disclose sponsorship, one an invitation and two say they paid; the rest say nothing. That may explain how uniformly positive they are.
