A grilled-fish restaurant on the roadside along 4.19-ro in Gangbuk, near the April 19th memorial tower. Mackerel or hairtail is grilled in a brick oven and comes with rice cooked in an iron pot and radish-greens soup. We read 2 posts, from November 2025 to July 2026, and both are from people who ate there. The one post that gave prices listed mackerel and hairtail sets at 14,000 won each, 28,000 won for two.

What sets it apart

  1. The oven is right in the dining room. One post liked being able to watch the fish being grilled; the other noted that the oven leaves a smell of grilling fish in the room.
  2. One post said two fish sets were plenty for two people and ordering anything more would be too much. That writer said it was their fourth visit and called 28,000 won good value.
  3. One post (July 2026) found every table taken; they walked straight in, but a line formed behind them. It did not say what time it was or how long the wait ran. The same post said the tables are packed fairly close.

Parking

1 posts say you can park. None say you cannot.

Posts saying you can park1 of 2 posts

One post said there is room for about four cars in front. The other post's info box lists six spaces plus a public car park, but that reads as copied information, so we did not count it.

Where it is

We could not find this shop’s own listing on Naver Map, so the link searches for its Korean name around this spot instead.

Getting inside

The address says ground floor, but no post described the floor from their own visit.

We don't know whether there is a step at the entrance or whether a wheelchair or stroller can get in — not because there is a problem, but because nobody wrote about it.

Nobody mentioned where the toilet is or whether it is separated by gender.

No one mentioned: Second floor · In a basement · Lift to the floor · Ramp at the door · Step at the entrance · Step-free access · Toilet inside · Accessible toilet · Separate restrooms. That is not the same as there being none — it means we could not confirm it. Worth calling ahead, and do tell us: we will put it here.

What we do not know

  • Both posts give opening hours as 7:00 to 22:00 daily, but both copied that into an info box. Nobody mentioned a break, last order or closing day.
  • Prices come from a single July 2026 post. We do not know the prices of the other dishes, such as the siraegi menu.
  • A phone number, 02-999-5933, appears only in one post's info box, and nobody said whether the restaurant takes reservations.
  • We don't know how easy it is by subway or bus. One post's info box gives 769 m from Exit 2 of 4.19 Minjumyoji Station, but nobody described getting there that way; that writer walked for an hour and a half.
  • We don't know who people go with. One post ate as a pair without saying with whom.
