Lil Bürger
릴버거 광화문점 Ril Beogeo Gwanghwamun-jeom Lil is the English 'little' — the sign reads Lil Bürger, so the name is simply 'little burger', and Gwanghwamun-jeom marks this as the Gwanghwamun branch.

Lil Bürger Gwanghwamun is a burger shop on the ground floor of Gwanghwamun G Tower (the Shilla Stay building), 71 Sambong-ro, Jongno. Five burgers run from 9,400 won for the cheeseburger to 14,900 won for the El Taco and Egg Benedict; sides are fries 5,900, maple sweet-potato fries 6,900 and onion rings 7,900, cans 2,500. You order from a QR code on the table and fetch water, sauces and gloves from a self-service bar by the door. The classic burger and onion rings were ordered most. We read 30 posts dated 25 July to 13 October 2026; 27 describe a meal there, two were about other places and one was only a check-in. Weekend hours changed over that period (see below).

Counted from what bloggers wrote in their posts; we did not confirm it with the restaurant. Where the values differ, it may be a change over time rather than a disagreement, so we show when each one was written.
What sets it apart
- Ordering is done at the table on your phone: 12 posts ordered through the table's QR code. One noted that everyone at the table sees the same basket in real time, and that you pay on the phone straight away.
- The room is small: 8 posts said so, mentioning tables packed close together. Several describe two- and four-seat tables, one counted about six tables, and one group of relatives had staff push tables together for them.
- Lunch can mean a wait. 4 posts waited or saw a queue, 6 were seated straight away. One arrived at 11:40 on a weekday and waited about 20 minutes; one sat down at 11:20 but saw people waiting outside by the time they finished; one got in at opening and found a queue on the way out. Those seated at once came at 11:45, late lunch or around 2 pm on a weekday; one found no wait at 7:30 pm. The queue runs through the CatchTable app.
- It is a walk from the subway: 4 posts described the route they took — about five minutes from Jonggak station, seven or eight from exit 2 of Gwanghwamun or Jonggak, and two or three minutes from the Jogyesa bus stop, which one writer found closest.
3 more
- 15 posts wrote about the juicy patty, often adding that the smashed patty has crisp edges. 15 posts also called something crisp, mostly the onion rings.
- 7 posts mentioned sweetness — the bacon jam, the sauces, the maple sweet-potato fries. One found the sauce far too sweet and the burgers oily, and said they would not go back.
- 10 posts called the jalapeño or El Taco burger spicy, mostly only mildly. One spice-shy writer found it hot while their friend did not.

Where it is

We could not find this shop’s own listing on Naver Map, so the link searches for its Korean name around this spot instead.
From the station
It is a walk from the subway: 4 posts described the route they took — about five minutes from Jonggak station, seven or eight from exit 2 of Gwanghwamun or Jonggak, and two or three minutes from the Jogyesa bus stop, which one writer found closest.
Getting inside
| In a basement | yes 0 · no 1 (of 27 posts read) |
|---|---|
| Toilet inside | yes 0 · no 1 (of 27 posts read) |
It is on the ground floor; one post said it was easy to find for that reason. No one mentions stairs.
No one described the entrance step or going in with a wheelchair or pushchair. Two posts copied Naver's 'wheelchair-accessible entrance' line, which we do not count. That means nobody wrote about it, not that it is a problem.
One post says the toilet is not in the shop but inside the building, to the left, behind the shop on the ground floor. Separate men's and women's toilets appear only in copied listings, so we did not count them.
No one mentioned: Second floor · Lift to the floor · Ramp at the door · Step at the entrance · Step-free access · Accessible toilet · Separate restrooms. That is not the same as there being none — it means we could not confirm it. Worth calling ahead, and do tell us: we will put it here.

Posts that followed a TV spot
Of the 28 posts we gathered, 1 went up on a single day right after a TV spot and show no sign of a visit. They retell the broadcast, so we left them out of the counts.
We do not discard them. That a TV spot produced a burst of posts is itself something worth knowing about a place, and a star rating will not show it.

What we do not know
- Greasiness is split: 3 posts found it greasy (twice the onion rings, once the burgers), 3 said it was not.
- Only one post went with a child — an eight-year-old nephew finished a burger. Several mention children's cutlery at the self-service bar; nobody mentions high chairs.
- Opening hours: almost every post gives weekdays 11:00–20:30 with a 15:00–17:00 break and last orders at 14:30 and 20:00, but weekends changed. Four late-July 2026 posts list Saturday 11:00–15:00 and Sundays closed; posts from 19 August to 8 September say open daily (one ate there at weekend lunch); posts of 9 September and 2 October say closed Saturday and Sunday, while one of 30 September lists Saturday until 15:00. Most of this is copied listing data — check before a weekend visit.
- Prices barely moved from July to October. One post wrote 13,800 won for the jalapeño burger (others 13,500), and one swapped the onion-ring and sweet-potato prices. One pair paid 53,400 won for two burgers, three sides and two cans. Nobody called it expensive; of the 3 posts that called it good value, one was sponsored.
- Nobody made a reservation; one post copied 'no reservations', and waiting is handled through CatchTable. Seven posts give the same phone number, 0507-1345-7946.
- Many posts look like a promotional batch: 17 end with the same Naver Place link, two disclose sponsorship and one says the food was provided by the shop. Stories about chef Lee Won-il's consulting and celebrity favourites are the shop's own marketing, repeated, and we did not use them as evidence.
