Seoajin Rupeutap
서아진 루프탑 Seoajin is said to be made from the names of the owner's two children; the shop also writes it 舒雅辰, glossed as ease, elegance and the starry sky.

Seoajin Rooftop is a gastropub on the 5th and 6th floors of a building on Songridan-gil (27 Baekjegobun-ro 43-gil): an indoor hall and terrace on the 5th, a rooftop on the 6th, and a Lotte World Tower view that nearly every post mentions. The menu mixes Western bar food (bacon cream pasta, pizza, gambas) with Korean dishes (mala-cream seafood hot pot, fish-cake hot pot, flame-grilled pork), eaten with draft beer or wine. Prices in October 2026 posts: bacon cream pasta 18,900 won, gambas 23,900, mala-cream hot pot 35,900, the Seojin set 46,800. Eight posts say you pick your seating area at the 5th-floor counter and order by QR code at the table; eight say hot pots cannot be ordered on the rooftop. We read 30 posts from November 2025 to October 2026: 11 were about other places (six about Okuku Bakery), one was a neighborhood roundup, and 18 describe a visit.

Counted from what bloggers wrote in their posts; we did not confirm it with the restaurant. Where the values differ, it may be a change over time rather than a disagreement, so we show when each one was written.
What sets it apart
- A complimentary starter arrives once you order. Eleven of the 18 visit posts mention it, mostly as crackers topped with tuna mayo; a November 2025 post also got scallion kimchi. An April 2026 post says more costs extra and is capped at two refills. Even a May 2026 writer who found the food merely average said the free starter was the best thing they ate.
- Eleven of the 18 visit posts sat on or went up to the 6th-floor rooftop; ten mention the 5th-floor terrace. The rooftop is not always open: in June 2026 one couple was told it was closed because of bugs and sat on the terrace instead. An October 2026 writer found the terrace chilly at night and said the staff turned on an overhead heater; two posts mention blankets under the counter.
- Waits depend on the seat and the hour. A May 2026 post waited about an hour on a weekend, standing on the stairs because there was no room to wait. A September 2026 post walked in at 6:30 pm on a weekday and saw a queue form from 7:30; an April 2026 pair skipped the outdoor wait and sat inside; a June 2026 couple got the last terrace table straight away. The May writer added that regular indoor seats turn over quickly. One post describes a tablet by the counter where you join the queue for hall, terrace or rooftop, and three note that your whole party must be present to be seated.
- Nearly every post says dogs are welcome, but almost all are repeating the house rules (vaccination certificate, under 7 kg, carrier or pet stroller). Only one post, from November 2025, actually brought a dog — under 7 kg, in a carrier. An October 2026 writer left her dog home because of the paperwork and carrier requirement.

- Writing a review earns a free dish or drink: three posts took it — onion rings twice, a coconut-pineapple highball once. One lists the choices as onion rings, a highball, fish-cake soup or honey cheese.

Where it is

We could not find this shop’s own listing on Naver Map, so the link searches for its Korean name around this spot instead.

Getting inside
| In a basement | yes 0 · no 7 (of 18 posts read) |
|---|---|
| Lift to the floor | 6 of 18 posts |
| Toilet inside | 3 of 18 posts |
| Separate restrooms | 2 of 18 posts |
The elevator goes only to the 5th floor; six posts describe riding it up from the ground floor. The 6th-floor rooftop is reached by stairs — one post says plainly there is no elevator to the rooftop, and three more mention climbing the stairs. One writer guessed that is why hot pots are not served up there.
No one reports actually entering with a wheelchair or stroller; two posts copy the listing's 'wheelchair accessible' line, which is the shop's own claim. Nobody mentions an entrance step. All we know is that the elevator reaches the 5th floor and the rooftop is stairs only.
The restroom is inside on the 5th floor, per three posts; two say it is separated by gender, and one places it by the drinks fridge next to the counter. No one describes getting there from the rooftop.
No one mentioned: Second floor · Ramp at the door · Step at the entrance · Step-free access · Accessible toilet. That is not the same as there being none — it means we could not confirm it. Worth calling ahead, and do tell us: we will put it here.

Posts that followed a TV spot
Of the 19 posts we gathered, 1 went up on a single day right after a TV spot and show no sign of a visit. They retell the broadcast, so we left them out of the counts.
We do not discard them. That a TV spot produced a burst of posts is itself something worth knowing about a place, and a star rating will not show it.

What we do not know
- Opinions on spacing differ: two posts found the tables roomy, while a May 2026 post found them tightly packed.
- Opening hours have changed. Posts up to June 2026 list Mondays as closed; from August 2026 Mondays appear, and three October posts say open daily. October posts give 4 pm–11:30 pm for the 5th floor (last order 11 pm) and 4–11 pm for the rooftop (last order 10:30). Late Friday–Saturday hours differ between an August post (until 2:30 am, weekends from noon) and an October one (until midnight). All are copied listings, not verified by visitors.
- Prices have gone up: bacon cream pasta was 17,900 won in April and June 2026 and 18,900 in October; the aged-pork grill went from 28,900 (November 2025) to 30,900 (June 2026). Two October 2026 posts give a full bill — 67,600 won for the Seojin set with a pasta upgrade plus two glasses of wine, and a mala-cream hot pot (35,900) with udon (4,000), two peach sparklers (17,800) and rice (2,000). One post notes a one-drink-per-person rule. No one called it expensive; two called the prices average or reasonable.
- Six posts give the same phone number, 0507-1389-1647. Online booking, private hire (30 in the hall, 40 on the terrace, 50 on the rooftop) and corkage (30,000 won a bottle) are copied from listings; no one says they booked ahead.
- Much of this is promotional. Eight posts from August to October 2026 repeat the same wedding-invitation-party keywords, and six of them use the same sentence about the dog vaccination certificate; only one discloses that the shop provided something free. Two November 2025 posts (one on a marketing agency's blog) share the same copy down to a typo in the hours. Only two posts, from May and June 2026, say they paid their own way.
