Yeonryeo is a Korean drinking house right outside exit 4 of Boramae station, on the ground floor at Yeouidaebang-ro 29-gil 10, Yeongdeungpo. In a dim retro room furnished with mother-of-pearl tables, people share hotpots — mala shabu (32,000 won), plain shabu (30,000) or beef-shank stew — alongside a prawn-and-chive pancake (18,000) or crisp potato pancake (16,000), with soju and beer at 5,000 won or bottled premium distilled soju. We read 30 posts dated 27 May to 17 October 2026; 29 describe a visit. Until June the signature was an aged-pork kimchi stew (29,000 won); posts from July say it has been dropped.

What sets it apart
- Portion size is the most repeated point — 21 of the 29 visit posts. One post said the beef-shank stew was nearly enough for three; another said two people almost couldn't finish the mala shabu. The pancakes were compared to a large pizza and to one and a half times a normal pancake-house serving.

No post describes the floor from experience; the address says ground floor, unit 107, and one post calls it a shop under an apartment block. We don't know of any basement or upstairs space.
Nobody wrote about a step at the entrance or getting in with a wheelchair or pushchair; one post only mentions a swing door. That means we don't know, not that it's a problem.
The toilet is outside the restaurant — two posts say so, one noting it is just round the side and clean. Nobody said whether it is split by gender or how big it is.

Posts that followed a TV spot
Of the 30 posts we gathered, 1 went up on a single day right after a TV spot and show no sign of a visit. They retell the broadcast, so we left them out of the counts.
We do not discard them. That a TV spot produced a burst of posts is itself something worth knowing about a place, and a star rating will not show it.

What we do not know
- No post reports queuing. One Thursday 7pm visit found plenty of free seats; a Friday-evening post found many tables already full, and one post saw a handwritten waiting list at the door. Four posts booked or saw booked tables.
- Posts disagree on the mala shabu's heat: three say even spice-shy diners can handle it, two found it more numbing than expected or warn it may be too hot. Two more were inconclusive, one of them describing the chicken tteokbokki as mildly spicy.
- We can't say whether children are welcome: one post went with their daughter, while one May post's copied listing says no kids. We don't know which is current.
- The beef-shank stew got cheaper: 35,000 won in three August 2026 posts, 32,000 on a 10 September menu list, 28,000 in a 19 September post. Two people sharing a hotpot and a pancake spend around 50,000 won before drinks (mala shabu 32,000 + chive pancake 18,000). Three posts called the prices fair.
- Opening hours vary by period and by post, and all are copied from the listing. Through August 2026, eleven posts agree on Mon–Thu 17:00–24:00, Fri–Sat 17:00–01:00, closed Sunday; five September posts give a 01:00 close. Most say closed Sunday, but two posts from 10 September say Wednesday and one from 6 September says open Sunday 17:00–24:00. A post from 17 October gives Mon–Thu 18:00–01:00 and Fri–Sat 17:30–02:00. Check before you go.
- Booking works — four posts booked or saw reserved tables, one found a name card waiting. The phone number, 0507-1387-3903, is the same in most posts. The claim that groups of up to 16 can book comes from the shop's own notice.
- Three posts disclose sponsorship, one reads like an invited review, one says they paid, and the rest say nothing. Many posts hit the same points in the same order — the caramel popcorn, the joke drink names, the soju list, the review-event ice cream, the 'honesty, diligence, effort, kindness' wall slogan — and two describe the chicken tteokbokki in near-identical sentences. Read them knowing some were likely written from the same brief.
