SAM SAM SAM

쌤쌤쌤 롯데월드몰점 Ssaemssaemssaem Lotte World Mall Ssaem-ssaem-ssaem is the name SAM written three times in Hangul; the plates and wall art carry the house characters Sam and Sammy.

Compiled from 25 blog posts read in fullSources →

An American-style restaurant on the 5th floor of Lotte World Mall in Jamsil, next to Lotte Cinema, run by chef Kim Hoon: lasagna, pasta, gnocchi and steak. Pumpkin gnocchi is 23,000 won, the classic lasagna and jambon pasta 26,000, steak 46,000, and the two-person set 105,000. Thirteen posts say you order from a QR code on the table, and after paying you help yourself to free soft-serve. We read 30 posts dated 25 June to 23 October 2026: 25 are visits, three are about other places (two on Teddy Beurre House downstairs, one on Din Tai Fung), and two are write-ups with no sign of a visit. One describes a December 2025 visit.

Counted from what bloggers wrote in their posts; we did not confirm it with the restaurant. Where the values differ, it may be a change over time rather than a disagreement, so we show when each one was written.

What sets it apart

  1. Six posts say they waited and seven walked straight in. The waits they give are 10, 10, 20 and about 30 minutes: three groups ahead at 11:10 on a Sunday, ten minutes at 11:30 on a public holiday, twenty minutes at a weekend lunch. The 30-minute post says the queue is walk-up only, with no CatchTable or Tabling sign-up. Most of the seven no-wait posts came on weekdays. A December 2025 visit at 4:50 on a Sunday found it empty, with a line forming before 5:30. One post sat on a waiting chair.
  2. Five posts booked through Naver. Two booking receipts read 'weekday reservations (no weekends or holidays)', so a booking won't get you past the weekend queue. Two of the five booked visits were shown upstairs.
  3. Six posts came with children and four got a high chair; several mention children's cutlery, and one family was given a glass of orange juice for the baby. Three posts brought a stroller to the table (one arranged it when booking, one sat at an outer table with the stroller beside them), while another left theirs by the entrance.
  4. Portions split four to two: four posts found them generous, while one group of three ordered a fourth dish after clearing three and called the portions small for the price, and another found the gnocchi small.
1 more
  1. Four posts call it expensive and two hedge. A couple paid 51,000 won for a lasagna, a shrimp pasta and drinks after a 3,000-won review discount, and was surprised by a 4,000-won cola. Five posts mention 1,000 won off per Naver or Google review; one got 15% off for eating before 5 p.m.

The most ordered dish is Jjondeuk danhobak nyokki (쫀득 단호박 뇨끼) — 12 of 25 posts.

The prices here are what bloggers wrote down in their posts, and they may have changed since. Check Naver Place for the current menu and prices. This list is not a menu board — it counts what bloggers actually ordered and ate. Check on Naver Place

Getting inside

Second floor4 of 25 posts
In a basementyes 0 · no 4 (of 25 posts read)
Step-free access3 of 25 posts

Inside the 5th-floor entrance a staircase leads to an upper seating level. Four posts were seated upstairs; one describes being sent up a staircase on the right to mostly two-person tables. On noise it is one against one: one post got 'a quiet table upstairs', another found tables close together and the room loud. Ten posts call the place spacious.

The tip about using the lift on the aquarium side appears word for word in three posts; it is copied from the online listing, so we don't count it.

No post mentions a step at the entrance or arriving by wheelchair. Three brought strollers in, but that is silence, not a confirmed step-free entry. One post climbed stairs to the upper level; none mentions a lift to it.

No post says where the toilets are or whether they are separate; we don't know whether you use the mall's shared restrooms.

No one mentioned: Lift to the floor · Ramp at the door · Step at the entrance · Toilet inside · Accessible toilet · Separate restrooms. That is not the same as there being none — it means we could not confirm it. Worth calling ahead, and do tell us: we will put it here.

Posts that followed a TV spot

Of the 27 posts we gathered, 2 went up on a single day right after a TV spot and show no sign of a visit. They retell the broadcast, so we left them out of the counts.

We do not discard them. That a TV spot produced a burst of posts is itself something worth knowing about a place, and a star rating will not show it.

What we do not know

  • Four posts found the staff friendly; one disagrees, describing a July 2026 Sunday morning when tables sat empty while staff chatted and the queue waited.
  • The menu has changed. The competition steak (46,000 won) was not on a May 2026 menu but appears in July; the hamburg lasagna (26,000) is missing from July and August menus and turns up as a new item from September. The corn-cheese balls (11,000) were ordered in July and reported discontinued by September. The older house steak still appeared at the same price in August, so we don't know whether both steaks are on the menu now.
  • Only one post speaks from experience about getting there by transit, calling the mall easy to reach. The '294 m from Jamsil Station exit 11' line is copied across several posts.
  • Fifteen posts give opening hours, all 10:30 to 22:00, eleven with last orders at 21:00 — but all in copied info blocks, and none mentions a break or a closing day.
  • The phone number, 0507-1433-4540, is the same in every info block. No one booked by phone; all bookings were made on Naver.
  • Two posts are not counted: one strings together review counts and star ratings, the other is promotional copy with no description of the food and even names a dish from a different restaurant.
