A Japanese sanuki-udon chain on the fifth-floor restaurant level of Lotte World Mall in Jamsil. You carry a tray down a line, name your udon, size (regular or large) and hot or cold, get it on the spot, pick tempura from the counter yourself, pay at the end, then add scallions, tempura crumbs and chilli at a self bar. Posts list plain bukkake at 7,900 won, green chilli bukkake at 8,900 won, nikutama at 10,300 (regular) or 12,800 won (large), and tempura at 2,000-2,500 won a piece. We read 30 posts from 2 September to 22 October 2026; 25 of them record a meal here.

Counted from what bloggers wrote in their posts; we did not confirm it with the restaurant. Where the values differ, it may be a change over time rather than a disagreement, so we show when each one was written.
What sets it apart
- Expect a line at mealtimes. Of 16 posts that mentioned waiting, 13 queued; the times they gave were about 20 minutes on a weekend at 2 pm, 15-20 minutes on a weekday lunch, 10 minutes, about 20 minutes on a Saturday at 1 pm, and 15-20 minutes on a weekend. Two posts mention a board showing the expected wait, one quoting 'about 7-10 minutes'. One post says there is no booking or waitlist, you simply join the line outside. One post walked straight in well after the lunch rush.
- The kitchen is open, so you watch the noodles being cut and boiled while you queue. Eight posts mention the open kitchen; one describes watching the machine roll and cut the dough. Eleven posts say the bowl is assembled in front of you the moment you order.
- Five posts found it reasonable for Lotte World Mall; one said it is clearly pricier than in Japan, and that a large bowl plus a few tempura quickly runs into the mid-to-high teens of thousands of won. One couple paid 24,200 won for a large nikutama bukkake, a regular green chilli bukkake and a shrimp tempura.
- Four posts found it salty; one, eating the plain kake udon, found the broth light and not salty. Two posts called the beef topping sweet.
2 more
- Six posts found the tempura crisp. One liked being able to pick the biggest-looking piece from the counter; another found the batter too thick and un-Japanese and said they would not return.
- Four posts came with children and three mention high chairs. One family parked the stroller at the far end on a weekday; another was given scissors on request. One post warned the tables are close together, awkward with a high chair, and would not bring a baby under one.

Where it is

We could not find this shop’s own listing on Naver Map, so the link searches for its Korean name around this spot instead.

Getting inside
| Step-free access | 1 of 22 posts |

Three posts place it right by the escalator on the mall's fifth-floor restaurant level. No post says more about floors or how to get up there.
One post parked a stroller inside at the far end; none says anything about a step at the entrance or wheelchair access. That means nobody wrote about it, not that there is a problem.
No post mentions toilets, so we don't know whether there is one in the shop or only the mall's.
No one mentioned: Second floor · In a basement · Lift to the floor · Ramp at the door · Step at the entrance · Toilet inside · Accessible toilet · Separate restrooms. That is not the same as there being none — it means we could not confirm it. Worth calling ahead, and do tell us: we will put it here.

Posts that followed a TV spot
Of the 24 posts we gathered, 2 went up on a single day right after a TV spot and show no sign of a visit. They retell the broadcast, so we left them out of the counts.
We do not discard them. That a TV spot produced a burst of posts is itself something worth knowing about a place, and a star rating will not show it.

What we do not know
- Accounts of the seating differ. Seven posts said there was room to sit, but one said it is mostly two-seat tables with few four-seaters, so groups push tables together, while another found more four-seat tables than expected. One post said the tables are close together.
- Only one post says from its own visit that Jamsil Station connects straight into the mall. Lines such as '436 m from exit 2' or 'one minute on foot' were copied from listings and not counted.
- Ten posts give the same opening hours, daily 10:30-22:00, but all copied them from listings. No post mentions a break, last order or closing day.
- Seven posts copied the phone number 02-3213-4582. Nobody booked by phone, and one post says there is no booking or waitlist, only the line.
- We found no batch of templated promotional posts and no disclosed sponsorship. Claims like 'dough made fresh daily', '100% Hokkaido flour' and 'corn tempura only in Korea' are the shop's own words, repeated by bloggers, and we did not rely on them.
