The Italian Club
더 이탈리안 클럽 Deo Itallian Keulleop The name is plain English, 'The Italian Club' — a casual Italian dining room built around fresh pasta.
Compiled from 23 blog posts read in fullSources →
The Italian Club is an Italian restaurant on the second floor of the KT Songpa Tower — the Sofitel Ambassador Seoul building — at 209 Jamsil-ro, and fresh pasta is the core of the menu. Pastas ran 28,000–39,000 won, lunch-only pastas 22,000–23,000 won, salads 13,000–18,000 won; one couple paid 88,000 won for three plates and a cola. We read 30 posts from 5 April to 17 October 2026; 23 describe an actual meal. Fifteen of those 23 went up in three days, 14–16 October 2026, and every one of them ordered the limited fifth-anniversary salsiccia cavatelli.

Counted from what bloggers wrote in their posts; we did not confirm it with the restaurant. Where the values differ, it may be a change over time rather than a disagreement, so we show when each one was written.
What sets it apart
- The glass walls define the room: 18 of the 23 meal posts mention the floor-to-ceiling windows or the view toward Seokchon Lake, one describing glass on three sides. Two posts say window seats need a reservation — one found them all taken when booking and sat inside, advising two to three weeks' notice; another walked in and didn't get one.
- Seven posts note an open kitchen by the entrance — one watched the cooks boiling pasta and tossing sauces, another saw the kitchen and the fresh pasta on the way out to pay.
- Seven posts give concrete examples of service: extra calamari sauce brought unasked, a knife and flaky salt handed over on request, a server offering pickles before the diner asked, side plates set down in advance and allergies checked.
- Six posts booked ahead, via Naver or Catch Table. One that arrived at opening time watched reserved tables fill the room within minutes.

- Three posts describe arriving on foot: about seven minutes from Jamsil Station exit 10, the lake coming into view on the way, an easy walk from the bus. The oft-repeated '333 m from exit 10' is copied listing data.
- Of posts that say who they went with: five with family (sister, mother, a child), four with a husband, two as a group, one with a friend. A parent who mentioned the child when booking found toddler cutlery laid out, and the kids' set cost 22,000 won; another came with a pushchair.

Three posts drove and parked in the building's garage — one on B4, one calling the underground car park roomy and easy. Nearly every post repeats 'two hours free', but mostly in copied info blocks; one says you ask staff to register your car on the way out.

Where it is

We could not find this shop’s own listing on Naver Map, so the link searches for its Korean name around this spot instead.

Getting inside
| In a basement | yes 0 · no 8 (of 23 posts read) |
|---|---|
| Lift to the floor | 1 of 23 posts |
| Step-free access | 1 of 23 posts |
The restaurant is on the building's second floor, not underground. Eight posts describe getting there: six took the outdoor escalator on the Sofitel West Gate side and found it straight on the right, one came up by lift from the car park, one came up from level B4 without saying how.
One post brought a pushchair in and found the seating roomy. Nobody says whether there is a step at the entrance or whether a wheelchair can get in; only one post used a lift (from the car park) rather than the escalator.
No post describes the toilets from experience. One copied info block lists them as outside the restaurant and separated by sex — possibly the building's toilets, but we haven't confirmed it.
No one mentioned: Second floor · Ramp at the door · Step at the entrance · Toilet inside · Accessible toilet · Separate restrooms. That is not the same as there being none — it means we could not confirm it. Worth calling ahead, and do tell us: we will put it here.

Posts that followed a TV spot
Of the 26 posts we gathered, 3 went up on a single day right after a TV spot and show no sign of a visit. They retell the broadcast, so we left them out of the counts.
We do not discard them. That a TV spot produced a burst of posts is itself something worth knowing about a place, and a star rating will not show it.

What we do not know
- Fifteen posts published 14–16 October 2026 share the same sentence about a limited dish for the fifth anniversary in November, the same keywords, and the same order of salsiccia cavatelli; only one discloses it as an ad. We count them as meals, but two-thirds of our 23 meal posts come from what looks like a single campaign.
- The menu turns over with the seasons: July 2026 posts ate a sweet-corn potato gnocchi at 33,000 won, and from late September a butternut gnocchi at the same price is billed as new. The salsiccia cavatelli appears only in October posts, as a limited dish. The restaurant has not moved.
- Prices on the July and October 2026 menus copied into posts are nearly identical. Only the bolognese ragù differs — 28,000 won in July, 33,000 in September, one post each — so we can't tell whether it rose. Two posts found prices modest for the setting.
- Ten posts mention the wine list. Bringing your own bottle is allowed but charged — two posts give 10,000 won per glass — so corkage is not free.
- No post reports waiting. One weekday-evening visitor found the room about two-thirds full and sat straight down, guessing weekends would need a booking. We don't know how long a weekend walk-in waits.
- Seventeen posts give opening hours, almost all from copied info blocks: daily 11:30–22:00 with a 15:00–17:30 break, last orders at 13:50 and 20:50 per eight posts (one says 20:30). One September 2026 post alone says Monday–Saturday with Sundays closed, while two others say open every day — check before a Sunday visit.
- Eleven posts give the same phone number, 0507-1330-3238; bookings are taken through Naver and Catch Table.
