Daebojeong's Seoul City Hall branch is a Hanwoo course restaurant on basement level 1 of Pacific Tower, near exit 9 of City Hall station. Every seat is in a private room. Dinner is the Dae (199,000 won), Bo (149,000) or Jeong (109,000) set; weekday lunch runs from a 39,000-won bulgogi set to the 79,000-won lunch signature. A course moves through perilla chicken porridge, raw fish, small bites, beef tartare, a mini tteokgalbi burger and buckwheat noodles before staff grill 1++ Hanwoo at the table, then ends with seaweed soup or cold noodles. Nineteen of the 31 visits ate the Bo set. We read 32 posts written between July 17 and October 15, 2026; 31 describe a visit.

What sets it apart
- There is no seating except private rooms: all 29 posts that described the space ate in one, and 10 said it was quiet - shut the door and it feels like your own room. One heard older men in suits faintly through the wall. The figure of 21 rooms seating up to 40 is copied identically across many posts.
- Staff grill the beef: 21 posts say so, and many mention cooked pieces being moved to a small brazier to stay warm. Two differ - an October 15 post says you grill it yourself, and a September 26 post was told the service was unavailable that day, so a friend grilled.
- The kitchen is visible from the corridor to the rooms; 14 posts walked past the open kitchen, several saying it made them trust the food.

- This is an anniversary place for two: 12 posts went with a partner or spouse, 7 with family (parents, siblings, a child) and 4 with friends. Nearly every post says that mentioning an anniversary when booking gets you a lettered dessert, a Polaroid and a glass of sparkling wine, and many show they received it.

Parking is in the Pacific Tower basement garage. Two posts drove; one weekend visitor got three free hours. The rule of two free hours on weekdays, three on weekends and 1,000 won per 10 minutes after that is copied by many posts; one adds a 2.1 m height limit.

It is one floor below ground: 9 posts went down into the building to find it, 2 of them by elevator. Three posts from August to October 2026 found the main entrance closed for construction and went round by another door, one pointing to the entrance beside Starbucks.
We don't know about steps or wheelchair access. No post says whether the entrance has a step or whether anyone went in with a wheelchair or pushchair; a 'wheelchair accessible' label copied by one post is listing data we did not count. Two posts came down by elevator; one took stairs from a side entrance during construction.
The toilets seem to be outside the restaurant, but only two posts say anything: one puts them just outside the door and separated by sex, the other inside the mall's dining floor. No post mentions an accessible toilet.

Of the 32 posts we gathered, 1 went up on a single day right after a TV spot and show no sign of a visit. They retell the broadcast, so we left them out of the counts.
We do not discard them. That a TV spot produced a burst of posts is itself something worth knowing about a place, and a star rating will not show it.

What we do not know
- We don't know about waiting. No post queued or waited; 19 say they booked ahead. One post passes on hearsay of walk-ins being turned away, which we did not count.
- Opening hours come only from copied listings. Of 23 posts that give them, most say 11:00-22:00 on weekdays, a 15:00-17:30 break and closed Sundays. For Saturday, 12 say it opens at 11:30 and 3 say 11:00 Monday to Saturday. A few give the break as 15:00-17:00 (2) or 15:30-17:30 (1), and one says it opens every day. Only one gives a last order time, 21:00.
- Opinions on price split: 2 posts call it expensive ('not a place for a casual Hanwoo dinner'), 2 raise price without a verdict, and 4 call the lunch sets reasonable. Dinner for one on the Bo set is 149,000 won, 298,000 for two. Set prices did not change between July and October.
- Two phone numbers circulate: 02-310-9554 (most posts) and 0507-1309-9554 (a Naver relay number). Most book through Naver or CatchTable; one post says groups of seven or more and same-day bookings go through CatchTable or by phone.
- Seven posts disclose sponsorship, 7 say the meal was provided, 2 say they paid, and 16 say nothing. Many of the silent ones repeat the same talking points in the same order - 21 rooms for up to 40, anniversary lettering, Polaroid and champagne, two or three free hours of parking - so they look like the same template. Read the praise with that in mind.
