SOLEW EDIT

소루 에디트 Soru Editeu Solew is the fashion label that runs the place, and 'edit' as in a curated selection — a showroom for its clothes with a cafe inside.

Compiled from 22 blog posts read in fullSources →

An apparel showroom with a cafe inside, on the ground floor of Yeonmujang 11-gil a few minutes' walk from Seongsu Station exit 3. It is run by the fashion label Solew: clothes, bags and caps line the wall by the entrance, there is a fitting room, and the counter at the back sells coffee and cakes. The signature cream latte was 6,500 won, an Americano 4,500, the chestnut latte 6,000, cakes 6,000–8,000 and cookies 3,500. We read 27 posts from October 2024 to September 2026; 22 describe an actual visit, 3 turned out to be about other places, and 2 were a TV-location write-up and a landscaper's terrace job log.

Counted from what bloggers wrote in their posts; we did not confirm it with the restaurant. Where the values differ, it may be a change over time rather than a disagreement, so we show when each one was written.

What sets it apart

  1. Twelve posts mention the outdoor terrace. One says the surrounding trees kept it quiet despite the main road; an October 2024 post found cushions and blankets laid out and an awning for shade. One post notes drinks outside come in takeaway cups, and another saw a sign asking you to check at the counter first.
  2. Eleven posts call it quiet for central Seongsu and nine call it spacious, repeatedly mentioning generous gaps between tables; one lists two- and four-seat tables plus a long wooden communal table. One post says it was so hushed they rushed through happy birthday and blew the candle out straight away.
  3. Five posts noticed many foreign customers. They describe a passport tax-refund kiosk for clothing purchases and signs in English and Chinese; one saw Japanese tourists trying clothes in the fitting room.
  4. Fourteen posts say it is close to the station — all measure from Seongsu exit 3, two to five minutes on foot — and several place it right across from the Stand Oil showroom. One writer walked past at first because from outside it looks like a clothing shop.

We could not find this shop’s own listing on Naver Map, so the link searches for its Korean name around this spot instead.

Getting inside

In a basementyes 0 · no 1 (of 22 posts read)
Separate restrooms1 of 22 posts

Only one post mentions the floor from experience — a ground-floor cafe with an outdoor area to one side. Nobody says whether there is upstairs seating.

No one says whether there is a step at the entrance or whether a wheelchair or pushchair can get in. That means unknown, not absent.

One post describes the toilet: code-locked, separate for men and women, one stall each — but it says both that it is 'inside' and that you 'go out a door', so we can't tell whether it is in the shop or the building corridor. Another post copied 'separate toilets inside the building' into its info box.

No one mentioned: Second floor · Lift to the floor · Ramp at the door · Step at the entrance · Step-free access · Toilet inside · Accessible toilet. That is not the same as there being none — it means we could not confirm it. Worth calling ahead, and do tell us: we will put it here.

Posts that followed a TV spot

Of the 24 posts we gathered, 2 went up on a single day right after a TV spot and show no sign of a visit. They retell the broadcast, so we left them out of the counts.

We do not discard them. That a TV spot produced a burst of posts is itself something worth knowing about a place, and a star rating will not show it.

What we do not know

  • Cake prices vary over time. The Oreo cake was 6,000 won in October 2024 and 7,000 in February and September 2025. The yarn-ball cake shows 7,000 (Nov 2024), 6,000 (Dec 2024) and 6,500 (2025) — out of order, so we can't say which is current. Two posts called the prices cheap.
  • Fourteen posts give the same opening hours — weekdays 9am–8pm, Saturday 11am–8pm, Sunday noon–8pm — mostly copied from Naver. Last order was 7:50pm in October–November 2024 posts and 7:30pm from January 2025 on. Two posts say 9am every day, disagreeing on weekends.
  • No one reports queuing, and one post walked straight in. It does get busy: one writer took the last free seat, and another found it crowded at 1:50pm until it emptied after 2pm.
  • Several posts list the same phone number, 0507-1420-0469, but none says whether reservations are taken; one copied a note that the space can be rented.
  • Six posts from October 2024 to March 2025 carry nearly the same hashtag block, and one still contains a pasted review-count widget. None discloses sponsorship, so we don't assume it, but read that period's praise with this in mind. Three posts say they paid their own way.
