SEONGSU NORU

성수노루 Seongsu Noru Noru is Korean for a roe deer, and Seongsu is the neighbourhood; the shop uses a little deer as its trademark.

A Korean-beef gopchang (tripe) grill right behind Exit 3 of Seongsu Station, at 110 Achasan-ro, ground floor. The signature mixed platter — small and large intestine, abomasum and heart with potato, rice cake and vegetables — is 33,000 won per portion, and staff grill it at your table from start to finish. Avocado beef tartare and a white soft-tofu stew come with the meal; most tables finish with kkakdugi fried rice (4,000 won) or snow-cheese fried rice (6,000 won). It opens at 4 pm for dinner only. Three posts say this is a larger space the shop moved into. We read 30 posts from 30 May to 5 October 2026; 24 of them describe an actual visit.

Counted from what bloggers wrote in their posts; we did not confirm it with the restaurant. Where the values differ, it may be a change over time rather than a disagreement, so we show when each one was written.

What sets it apart

  1. You don't grill it yourself: 17 of the 24 visit posts say staff did the grilling. Some note the staff tell you which cut to eat first as it comes ready; a family with a seven-year-old wrote that the server placed pieces on the child's plate at just the right moment. One office-dinner post said results vary noticeably with who is grilling, and their table came out worse than the others.
  2. Seven posts describe the room as spacious. Five went as a group of four or more for office dinners or gatherings, and one mentions six-seat tables besides the usual four-seaters. The shop's own blog claims 28 tables and 122 seats; we report that only as the shop's figure.
  3. Five posts say you order on a tablet or kiosk at the table; one adds that you pay up front. One post copied the ordering screen's rules: one dish per person, and a 120-minute table limit.

Parking

3 posts say you can park. None say you cannot.

Posts saying you can park3 of 24 posts

Twelve posts mention parking, but most copy the shop's notice — free after 6 pm on weekdays, available at weekends, mechanical parking marked with a smiley. Only three describe the lot first-hand; one said the large car park made driving there easy. Nobody says what happens if you park before 6 pm on a weekday.

Getting inside

Toilet insideyes 1 · no 2 (of 24 posts read)

No post mentions the floor or stairs; only the address says ground floor. We don't know.

Nobody wrote about a step at the entrance or getting in with a wheelchair or pushchair. One post was a family visit with a seven-year-old, but it says nothing about the entrance. This means we don't know, not that there's a problem.

Posts disagree on the toilet. One says it is inside the restaurant; two say you go out through the back door or outside the building to reach it. Another says only that it is inside the building, not outdoors. Separate men's and women's toilets appear only in copied facility lists, so we did not count that.

No one mentioned: Second floor · In a basement · Lift to the floor · Ramp at the door · Step at the entrance · Step-free access · Accessible toilet · Separate restrooms. That is not the same as there being none — it means we could not confirm it. Worth calling ahead, and do tell us: we will put it here.

Posts that followed a TV spot

Of the 28 posts we gathered, 4 went up on a single day right after a TV spot and show no sign of a visit. They retell the broadcast, so we left them out of the counts.

We do not discard them. That a TV spot produced a burst of posts is itself something worth knowing about a place, and a star rating will not show it.

What we do not know

  • The shop has moved. Three posts (July, August and September 2026) say it relocated to a bigger, more comfortable space, and that the old place was a bit noisy. None says when it moved or where the old shop was; all 30 posts we read are about the current address. One August post gives the address as Achasan-ro 7-gil 42 — we can't tell whether that is the old address or a mistake.
  • No post records actually waiting. One says they had worried about the queues mentioned in reviews but found free tables; one booked ahead and was seated straight away. Talk of queues appears only as hearsay. That doesn't mean there is no wait — just that nobody wrote down one.
  • Price: four posts give 33,000 won per portion of the platter, two give 66,000 won for two portions, so two people with fried rice to finish spend a little over 70,000 won. Two posts called it expensive (“really pricey but really good”); one said the price was fine. The set menus for two or three are discounted bundles.
  • Opening hours: 14 visit posts give 4 pm–11 pm with last orders at 9:30 pm, all copied from the listing. One post wrote 4 pm–9 pm with last orders at 9:30 pm, which contradicts itself and looks like a typo. One copied “open every day of the year”. The phone number 0507-1388-1936 is repeated in many posts and bookings go through Naver; only one post actually booked.
  • Some posts follow a shared template: four posts published between 29 September and 5 October 2026 hit the same points in nearly the same order — 30 seconds from Seongsu Station, “one of Seoul's top three gopchang”, crispy, popular with women, free parking after 6 pm on weekdays. None discloses sponsorship, but they read like a common brief. We did not count the two promotional posts on the shop's own blog. Three posts say the writer paid their own way.
