Seolbing Seongsu-jeom

설빙 성수점 Seolbing joins the Sino-Korean syllables seol (snow) and bing (ice) — the chain's name for its shaved milk-ice bingsu.

Compiled from 6 blog posts read in fullSources →

A branch of the Sulbing bingsu chain on Yeonmujang 7-gil in Seongsu, on the second and third floors of a building across from a well-known gamjatang place. You order milk-ice bingsu at a kiosk and eat in; prices in the posts run from 10,900 won (red bean and injeolmi) to 16,500 won (honey grapefruit). We read 24 posts dated 13 August to 5 October 2026; 7 of them (posted 15 August to 18 September) describe a visit to this branch. We set aside 11 that were about other Sulbing branches or only used the name as a landmark, and did not count 6 that mention eating Sulbing without saying which branch.

Counted from what bloggers wrote in their posts; we did not confirm it with the restaurant. Where the values differ, it may be a change over time rather than a disagreement, so we show when each one was written.

What sets it apart

  1. The seats are mostly upstairs. Four posts say the shop spans the second and third floors, and three of them say the third floor has far more seats; one notes the second floor is mainly the order and pickup counter with only a few seats, another chose the quieter, roomier third floor.
  2. Ordering is by kiosk: three posts say so. Where the kiosk is differs — two posts put ordering and pickup on the second floor, one says you order on the ground floor at a kiosk or with staff.
  3. Two posts call it cheap: one notes nothing on the menu tops 20,000 won, the other says it is relatively inexpensive when café bingsu runs around 15,000 won. From 17 to 19 September 2026 an app coupon took 50% off three bingsu between 5 and 8 pm; one writer paid 5,450 won for red bean and injeolmi.
  4. Two posts found power outlets — one said they are plentiful enough for solo study, the other found them at the third-floor window seats.
2 more
  1. Two summer posts say the air conditioning runs cold — one writer got goosebumps eating bingsu.
  2. Three posts call it sweet. Condensed milk comes in a separate packet per bingsu; one writer warned it sinks and makes the last spoonfuls very sweet, another found it sweet enough without and took the packet home.

Getting inside

Second floor4 of 6 posts
In a basementyes 0 · no 4 (of 6 posts read)
Separate restrooms1 of 6 posts

The shop is on the second and third floors, but no one said whether there is a lift, stairs only, or a step at the door. That means we don't know, not that there isn't one.

Two posts mention the toilet, and neither makes clear it is inside the shop: one places separate men's and women's toilets on the stairs between the second and third floors, code printed on the receipt; the other says it is in the building and not very clean.

No one mentioned: Lift to the floor · Ramp at the door · Step at the entrance · Step-free access · Toilet inside · Accessible toilet. That is not the same as there being none — it means we could not confirm it. Worth calling ahead, and do tell us: we will put it here.

Posts that followed a TV spot

Of the 12 posts we gathered, 6 went up on a single day right after a TV spot and show no sign of a visit. They retell the broadcast, so we left them out of the counts.

2026-10-053 posts in one day

We do not discard them. That a TV spot produced a burst of posts is itself something worth knowing about a place, and a star rating will not show it.

What we do not know

  • The '5 minutes from Seongsu Station exit 4' line appears only in one post's copied info block; no one described actually walking from the station or a bus stop.
  • No post describes waiting. One found the place nearly empty, another said the bingsu came out quickly — but these are single visits, and we don't know about weekend crowds.
  • Who people came with doesn't add up to a pattern: one visit with friends, one family trip with teenage children.
  • Three posts give the same hours (11:00–22:30, last order 22:00), all in copied info blocks. One heard that the third floor closes earlier, at 10 pm. No post mentions a closing day.
  • Prices come from two September 2026 posts; 5,450 won was a three-day coupon price. No one gave prices for sides or drinks.
  • Only one post gives a phone number (0507-1397-5619). No one mentions reservations.
  • Two more posts mention eating Sulbing in Seongsu without naming the branch; we did not count them here.
