LE FREAK

르프리크 Reupeurikeu Le Freak pairs the French article 'le' with the English word 'freak'; the house signs off with the slogan 'Love, Eat, Be Freak!'

Compiled from 18 blog posts read in fullSources →

Le Freak serves Nashville hot chicken burgers from the basement (unit B103) of Bluestone Tower on Yeonmujang 5-gil in Seongsu. The signature burger is 12,800 won, sides such as chat potato and cherry tomato salad are 7,800 won, and one post gives 43,800 won for the two-person signature combo. You choose a heat level from 1 to 3, order by QR code at the table, and get a hot towel when you sit down. We read 30 posts dated May 3 to October 5, 2026; 20 are about this Seongsu shop and 18 describe an actual visit. We set aside 10 posts about the Godeok and Yongsan branches and a burger competition.

Counted from what bloggers wrote in their posts; we did not confirm it with the restaurant. Where the values differ, it may be a change over time rather than a disagreement, so we show when each one was written.

What sets it apart

  1. Waits depend on timing: six posts waited, three walked straight in. The waits recorded were 5, 15 and 20 minutes, and nearly an hour. The walk-ins went on weekdays after the lunch peak. One post describes a waiting kiosk at the door and orders taken while you wait; the hour-long wait post says later arrivals were seated ahead of them several times.
  2. Nine posts call it spicy. Heat runs from level 1 to 3, and even level-1 orders were described as pleasantly hot; one couple on level 2 said level 1 would have been enough for the husband.
  3. Eight posts describe the seating. Five say there are both regular tables and a bar facing the kitchen, and three mention sofa or booth seats. Three sat at the bar and watched the cooking up close; one noticed solo diners filling the bar at a weekday lunch. One post counted four or five tables plus the bar.
  4. Six posts ordered via the QR code on the table; one did it through Toss.

The prices here are what bloggers wrote down in their posts, and they may have changed since. Check Naver Place for the current menu and prices. This list is not a menu board — it counts what bloggers actually ordered and ate. Check on Naver Place

Posts saying you can park2 of 18 posts

Only two posts describe parking first-hand: one says you park in the building with an hour validated, another thought the basement garage validation ran one to two hours depending on the meal. Lines like 'free parking' copied from the listing were not counted.

Getting inside

In a basement10 of 18 posts
Lift to the floor1 of 18 posts

You go down to get here: ten posts place it on basement level 1. Finding the door trips people up — one went into the building and found nothing, another took the building lift down, couldn't find the entrance and came back in by the outdoor stairs. A third rode the lift down one floor and walked through the parking garage to reach it.

We don't know whether there is a step at the door or whether a wheelchair or stroller can get in — nobody wrote about it. Several posts took stairs down; one reached it by lift via the parking garage.

It's unclear whether the toilet is inside the shop; one post only says it is on the side leading to the parking garage, and nobody mentions separate men's and women's toilets.

No one mentioned: Second floor · Ramp at the door · Step at the entrance · Step-free access · Toilet inside · Accessible toilet · Separate restrooms. That is not the same as there being none — it means we could not confirm it. Worth calling ahead, and do tell us: we will put it here.

Posts that followed a TV spot

Of the 20 posts we gathered, 2 went up on a single day right after a TV spot and show no sign of a visit. They retell the broadcast, so we left them out of the counts.

We do not discard them. That a TV spot produced a burst of posts is itself something worth knowing about a place, and a star rating will not show it.

What we do not know

  • Staff impressions split three to one. The dissenting July 2026 post found the staff disorganised and the burger very slow, and said it would not return. Two posts found the food ordinary.
  • Company skews one way: five posts went as a couple, one with a friend and one as a group of five. No post went alone or with children.
  • One September 2026 post guessed the shop may have moved because an old check-in didn't match; every other post gives the same B103 address, so we don't treat it as a relocation.
  • Seven posts give the same hours, 11:30 to 21:00, and four give a 15:00-17:30 break, but all of these are copied from the listing; one June 2026 post copies 'open every day'.
  • Prices are consistent: 12,800 won for the burger, 7,800 won for sides. One May 2026 post lists the chat potato at 7,300 won, and a listicle gave the burger as 9,800 won, which we didn't count. No post calls it expensive; one found the mushroom side good value. A combo for two comes to 43,800 won.
  • Four posts copy the phone number 0507-1376-0199. Naver booking and CatchTable remote queueing are also only copied from the listing; no post says it actually booked.
  • Le Freak also has Godeok and Yongsan branches with different burgers and sides; we excluded eight posts about them. The episode burger rotates: May-June posts describe the New Orleans burger (EP.40), August-September posts the Sicilian (Ep.41).
