Raseong Cheonsa

라성천사 Raseong is the given name of the owner, actor Yu Ra-seong, and cheonsa means angel; one post adds the shop's own reading of raseong as 'spreading out the stars'.

Raseong Cheonsa is a cutlet-and-snack-food spot on the ground floor of the Urim e-Biz Center in Seongsu-dong. People mostly eat the pork cutlet set on kimchi stew or the chilled buckwheat noodle and cutlet set, order at a kiosk, and report meals of roughly 7,000 to 10,800 won. It caters to weekday office lunches: closed Saturday and Sunday, and closing at 3 p.m. on Fridays. We read 15 posts from October 2024 to December 2025; 14 describe an actual visit.

Rows without a count: 8 of 9 posts.

Counted from what bloggers wrote in their posts; we did not confirm it with the restaurant. Where the values differ, it may be a change over time rather than a disagreement, so we show when each one was written.

What sets it apart

  1. You order at a kiosk: eight posts say so, and one places it right by the entrance.
  2. Nine posts call the cutlet crisp and six call the meat thick; one notes it stayed crisp even after soaking in the stew.
  3. It is a small room. Six posts call it compact; the ten that describe seating mention two- and four-person tables, counted by one as three or four four-tops plus one or two two-tops, and by another as about thirteen tables.
  4. Expect a walk from the subway. Four posts say it is reachable by train, about 10 minutes on foot; one regular puts it at 15 minutes from Seongsu Station exit 2 and calls it a bit far. One post points to the Seongdong 10 village bus stop at the building.

  1. Nine posts say prices are easy on the wallet and none call it expensive; most meals land around 10,000 won.

The prices here are what bloggers wrote down in their posts, and they may have changed since. Check Naver Place for the current menu and prices. This list is not a menu board — it counts what bloggers actually ordered and ate. Check on Naver Place

Where it is

Map showing where Raseong Cheonsa is

We could not find this shop’s own listing on Naver Map, so the link searches for its Korean name around this spot instead.

From the station

Expect a walk from the subway. Four posts say it is reachable by train, about 10 minutes on foot; one regular puts it at 15 minutes from Seongsu Station exit 2 and calls it a bit far. One post points to the Seongdong 10 village bus stop at the building.

Getting inside

In a basementyes 0 · no 8 (of 14 posts read)
Toilet insideyes 0 · no 1 (of 14 posts read)

Eight posts place it on the ground floor; two say it is the first door on the left after you enter the building's main entrance.

We don't know about the entrance step or wheelchair and stroller access. Eight posts say it is on the ground floor, but none mention a threshold; that is silence, not evidence of step-free access.

One post says the restroom is outside the shop; another merely copies a listing saying it is inside the building. Nobody said whether it is separated by gender.

No one mentioned: Second floor · Lift to the floor · Ramp at the door · Step at the entrance · Step-free access · Accessible toilet · Separate restrooms. That is not the same as there being none — it means we could not confirm it. Worth calling ahead, and do tell us: we will put it here.

Posts that followed a TV spot

Of the 15 posts we gathered, 1 went up on a single day right after a TV spot and show no sign of a visit. They retell the broadcast, so we left them out of the counts.

We do not discard them. That a TV spot produced a burst of posts is itself something worth knowing about a place, and a star rating will not show it.

What we do not know

  • Only one post reports a wait: a regular says a line forms quickly between 11:30 and 12:30 and that arriving ten minutes early gets you a seat. Another arrived just after 11:30 and was the second customer. Nobody wrote about evening waits.
  • Only four posts say who they came with: three alone and one with a child. None describe going with friends or a partner.
  • Nine posts give the same opening hours: Mon to Thu 10:00 to 20:00 (last order 19:30), Fri 10:00 to 15:00 (14:30), closed weekends. Almost all of them copy the shop's listing, and only one post describes an evening visit.
  • Prices for the same dish vary a little: the cutlet kimchi stew is 9,000 won in five posts and 8,500 in two; kimchi fried rice is 7,500 in three, 7,000 in one and 8,500 in one. The differences don't line up by date, so we can't call it a price rise.
  • Four posts give the same phone number, 0507-1404-3121. One notes that some group-dinner dishes must be booked a day ahead; nobody said whether lunch tables can be reserved.
  • Seven posts from October 2024 to January 2025 share the same hashtag set; one discloses sponsorship and two say the meal was provided. Claims about donating part of the profits and hand-preparing domestic pork daily are the shop's own words, repeated by bloggers, so we did not count them. Two posts name the owner differently from the rest.
