Miki Sushi
미키스시 Miki is a small town near Osaka; the shop says its look borrows from the local Miki Station, which is why the entrance is laid out as a railway track.
Compiled from 25 blog posts read in fullSources →
Miki Sushi sits at the end of an alley off Yeonmujang 9-gil, two to five minutes' walk from exit 3 of Seongsu Station, behind an entrance dressed up as a railway track. It sells sushi platters sized by piece count (12 pieces for 28,000 won, 24 for 55,000) and a daily-limited spoon-eaten 'bento sushi' for 29,000 won. Every order comes with a small egg custard and a mini udon per person, and several posts note you pick the amount of rice (small, regular, large) and whether you want wasabi. Up to April 2026 the 12-piece platter was 26,000 won. We read 30 posts from 27 November 2025 to 1 October 2026; 26 describe an actual meal (two were about other shops, two only name the place).

Counted from what bloggers wrote in their posts; we did not confirm it with the restaurant. Where the values differ, it may be a change over time rather than a disagreement, so we show when each one was written.
What sets it apart
- Thirteen posts walked from Seongsu Station; the times they give are 2, 4, 4 and about 5 minutes (four posts). It is not on the main road but down a narrow alley with railway tracks laid in the paving; one writer found it confusing the first time, another warns to look carefully for the small sign out front.
- Waiting is mixed. Three posts walked straight in — a weekend lunch without a booking (seated at the counter), a Sunday just before 2 p.m. ('plenty of seats'), and a weekday at 1:30 p.m. Two saw a queue. Seven had booked ahead; remote queuing works through CatchTable. One writer saw a notice that tables are limited to two hours when there is a queue, and one noted a waiting spot right outside the door.
- Dates dominate: seven posts went with a partner or spouse, five with friends, one with cousins. None mention bringing children.
- Ten posts describe the seating; nine mention both a counter facing the chefs and tables. One counted roughly four two-tops and four four-tops; another notes only two two-seat tables sit beside the screen showing Mount Fuji. One writer liked the basket under the counter seat for bags. Three call the room small, and one notes a low ceiling.
4 more
- Seven posts order on a tablet or kiosk at the seat, which is where you set rice amount and wasabi. One writer chose 'less rice' and found it smaller than expected.
- Nine posts mention the review offer — leave a Naver review and get croquettes (two pieces, say two posts) or a piece of soy-marinated shrimp sushi. The capsule machine by the entrance costs 1,000 won for a token; writers won a piece of shrimp or sea urchin. Two posts used a coupon from booking through Naver.
- Three posts note that tea — barley tea, says one — is served instead of water.
- Six posts call it good value and none simply call it expensive. One writer says it is 'a bit pricey' yet calls the 29,000-won bento 'reasonable', so we left that one undecided. One post puts dinner for two at about 60,000 won, up to 70,000 with drinks.

Parking
1 posts say you cannot park. None say you can.

Nobody in our posts parked. One says the shop has no lot or valet; another only guesses parking is impossible. The figure of 6,000 won an hour at the SK V1 Tower car park opposite is repeated from shop information.

Getting inside

The address says ground floor, but you climb stairs to get in. Eight posts describe going up steps at the end of the railway alley — four call it half a floor, three call it a full floor or 'the second floor', one just says 'up the stairs'. A single post from October 2026 says the opposite: ground floor, no stairs.
No post mentions a wheelchair, a stroller, a ramp or a lift. Beyond the stairs noted above we don't know — nobody wrote about it, which is not the same as there being none.
Two posts say the toilet is inside the restaurant, one following a sign to the back on the same floor. Nobody said whether it is split by gender or accessible.
No one mentioned: Second floor · Lift to the floor · Ramp at the door · Step-free access · Accessible toilet · Separate restrooms. That is not the same as there being none — it means we could not confirm it. Worth calling ahead, and do tell us: we will put it here.

Posts that followed a TV spot
Of the 27 posts we gathered, 2 went up on a single day right after a TV spot and show no sign of a visit. They retell the broadcast, so we left them out of the counts.
We do not discard them. That a TV spot produced a burst of posts is itself something worth knowing about a place, and a star rating will not show it.

What we do not know
- Prices went up. Two posts from January and April 2026 give the 12-piece platter at 26,000 won; three from August to October give 28,000. The 24-piece went from 51,000 (January) to 55,000 (August and October). We only know the change happened between April and August.
- Corkage seems to have changed. A December 2025 post says corkage was free, with 30% off bottles during a 6–10 p.m. happy hour; two September 2026 posts say corkage is charged — both repeat shop information, so we don't know the current fee.
- Fourteen posts give the hours as 11:30–22:00 with no afternoon break; nine of the ten that give a last order say 21:00. One September 2026 post says 11:00–22:00 with last order at 21:30. Most of this is copied from shop listings. Only single posts mention closing on Chuseok day or on public holidays, so we don't know of a regular day off.
- Nine posts list the phone number as 0507-1469-7532; one gives 02-6212-0171. Writers booked through Naver Reservations and CatchTable.
- Eight posts landed within nine days, 20–28 September 2026, three of them disclosing a free meal. These and some earlier posts repeat the same lines — the chef's background at the Shilla Hotel's omakase counter, and the claim that this is where the bento sushi shown on a TV cooking contest began. That is the shop's own pitch, so we don't rely on it.
