Maru Jemyeonso
마루제면소 Jemyeonso means a noodle works, a place that makes noodles; maru is a native Korean word for a ridge or a wooden-floored hall, and none of the posts says which sense the name means.

Maru Jemyeonso is a ramen and tonkatsu shop on the second floor of a building on Achasan-ro 13-gil in Seongsu-dong 2-ga. It serves the Maru Classic tonkotsu ramen, the spicy Maru Spicy, mazesoba, a pork loin cutlet and curries, and most posts describe office workers coming in for lunch. A bowl of ramen cost 9,500 to 10,000 won in 2025 posts and 10,000 to 11,000 won in 2026. We read 16 posts from December 2024 to September 2026. Thirteen record an actual meal there; the other three are a ranking list, what looks like a delivery order, and a post about the restaurant next door.

Counted from what bloggers wrote in their posts; we did not confirm it with the restaurant. Where the values differ, it may be a change over time rather than a disagreement, so we show when each one was written.
What sets it apart
- Extra side dishes come from a self-serve bar, as four posts note. One lists chives, kimchi and soup as the standard sides and says aprons are kept at the bar too; another found warm barley tea set out.
- Five posts said the broth or the cutlet was not greasy. One called the broth rich without being heavy; another liked that the chashu is grilled clean rather than fatty.
- Three posts called the frying crisp: two about the pork cutlet and one about the shrimp cutlet curry. One noted the panko standing up in sharp flakes.
- There can be a short wait at lunch. Two posts say they waited: one for about five to ten minutes, the other briefly because tables turned over fast. Another found the room empty at 11:30 and busy by noon, and one couple arrived at opening and were the first ones in.

Where it is

We could not find this shop’s own listing on Naver Map, so the link searches for its Korean name around this spot instead.
Getting inside

The shop is upstairs. Seven posts mention going up to the second floor. One says it is on your left at the top of the stairs, and another says being on the second floor makes it a little hard to find.
We don't know about step-free access. One post mentions climbing stairs, but no one says whether there is a lift, a step at the door, or room for a wheelchair or stroller. That doesn't mean there isn't one; nobody wrote about it.
Only one post mentions the restroom: half a floor down, which reads as outside the shop on the stairwell. No one says whether it is separated by gender or how big it is.
No one mentioned: In a basement · Lift to the floor · Ramp at the door · Step at the entrance · Step-free access · Accessible toilet · Separate restrooms. That is not the same as there being none — it means we could not confirm it. Worth calling ahead, and do tell us: we will put it here.

Posts that followed a TV spot
Of the 15 posts we gathered, 2 went up on a single day right after a TV spot and show no sign of a visit. They retell the broadcast, so we left them out of the counts.
We do not discard them. That a TV spot produced a burst of posts is itself something worth knowing about a place, and a star rating will not show it.

What we do not know
- Posts disagree on size: three found it small and one called it spacious. One of the three says the tables are so close that people kept bumping into her chair, and that smoke from searing chashu lingered in the room.
- Prices have gone up. The menu copied in an October 2025 post had the Maru Classic at 9,500 won, the Maru Spicy at 10,000 and mazesoba at 12,000. In May 2026 a diner paid 11,000 won for the Maru Spicy, and a September 2026 post gives the Maru Classic as 10,000 won. The 13,000-won mazesoba figure comes from a September 2026 list. All we know is that the rise happened between October 2025 and May 2026.
- No one describes actually walking from a station. There are only directions such as about 15 minutes on foot from Seongsu Station exit 2, and nothing about buses.
- Company is mixed: one post went with a friend and one went alone. The rest went with coworkers or a husband, or don't say. Some posts mention single seats at the counter.
- Several posts agree on weekday hours of 11:00 to 20:30 with a 15:00 to 17:00 break, and two say it closes on Sundays. Saturdays are unclear: two posts say it opens until 16:00, but a January 2026 post lists both Saturday and Sunday as closed. All of these are copied info blocks, so check before going.
- Four posts give the phone number 0507-1324-4293. None says whether the shop takes reservations. A different 070 number in a September 2026 ranking list was scraped, so we did not use it.
