Marco Works is a small coffee bar at Achasan-ro 11-gil 26, down the alley by the CU convenience store from Seongsu Station exit 2. Posts list an Americano at 4,500 won, a latte at 5,000, a vanilla latte at 5,500 and an einspänner at 6,500; most visitors drink lattes. Current posts put the hours at 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. on weekdays, with Saturdays open; posts up to July 2025 said it closed at 5 p.m. and took weekends off. We read 30 posts from March 2025 to September 2026, 20 of them visit records. Four posts were about the separate Bomun branch in Seongbuk-gu and were set aside.

What sets it apart
- People come here to get away from central Seongsu. Seven posts found it quiet; one said the espresso machine was very loud and the takeaway crowd too busy for working. The quiet visits were mostly mid-morning or afternoon; one post found it calm at 11:30 and packed with office workers after noon.
- It is small: eight posts called it narrow or cosy and none called it roomy. Six posts describe the seating — a sofa by the door, two-seat tables along the wall, a wide bar table at the back, and one post mentions a table for about six. Getting inside
No visit post says which floor it is on or whether there are steps. One post says it is in a basement, but that post mixes in the address of another branch near the station and was copied, so we set it aside. That does not mean it is not underground — nobody wrote about it.

Of the 24 posts we gathered, 6 went up on a single day right after a TV spot and show no sign of a visit. They retell the broadcast, so we left them out of the counts.
We do not discard them. That a TV spot produced a burst of posts is itself something worth knowing about a place, and a star rating will not show it.

What we do not know
- Opening hours have changed. Three posts from March to July 2025 gave weekdays 8 a.m.–5 p.m. with weekends closed; three from February to September 2026 give 8 a.m.–6 p.m., Saturdays open and Sundays closed. One post alone says Saturdays start at 11 a.m. (the other two say 8) and that last orders are 30 minutes before closing. Two July 2026 posts still say weekends closed, but they copy older text and we did not count them.
- No post describes queuing. Two posts pass on hearsay that there may be a short wait at lunchtime, and one saw the place fill with office workers after noon. One post says the big sofa inside is a good place to wait for your drink.
- Only four posts say who they came with: two with friends, one with a mother, one alone.
- Prices held steady from March 2025 to September 2026: 4,500 won for an Americano and 5,500 for a vanilla latte. The 5,000-won latte and 6,500-won einspänner appear only in 2026 posts, so we do not know earlier prices. A visit costs a drink or two; three 2025 posts list brownies and levain cookies, but one December 2025 post said there were no desserts.
- Three posts give the phone number 010-9924-5021. Nobody wrote whether it takes reservations.
- Some posts are templated. Two July 2026 posts are near-identical and stitched together from two 2025 visit posts, so we did not count them; another still carried a leftover drafting instruction and was also set aside.
