HAERYE COFFEE
클래식 해례커피 Keullaesik Haerye Keopi Haerye points to the Hunminjeongeum Haerye, the 15th-century commentary that explains Hangul; the brand says it wants to be a kind of commentary on coffee, and 'Classic' marks the Seongsu flagship.

A large café on the ground floor of a red-brick building, tucked down a side alley off Yeonmujang-gil in Seongsu. Writers paid 5,000 won for an americano and 7,500 won for the Haerye latte (coffee under black-sesame cream), with churronuts at 4,000–6,800 won and Basque cheesecake at 9,300–9,500 won; cocktails are served in the evening. One group of three paid 33,300 won for three americanos and three desserts. We read 30 posts dated 25 August to 6 October 2026; 14 of them describe a visit to this shop. The rest were the brand's pop-ups in Suwon and Jamsil, its Anguk and Eungam branches, or other businesses, and we did not count them.

Counted from what bloggers wrote in their posts; we did not confirm it with the restaurant. Where the values differ, it may be a change over time rather than a disagreement, so we show when each one was written.
What sets it apart
- Almost every visitor mentions the space: 13 of the 14 posts say it is large. One writer notes the frontage looks small but the room opens up inside; another liked that tables are far enough apart not to feel crowded; one listed two-seaters, wall sofas, a table for six or more and high round tables. The '100 pyeong' figure is repeated from the shop's own description.
- No one reports queuing. Three posts say they walked straight in — one came here after giving up on a long line elsewhere, one says it was relaxed every time, one visited on a weekday afternoon. One writer, arriving just after lunch, found it so busy there were hardly any seats left, and another spotted what might be waiting chairs.
- Two writers copied the notice at the counter: one drink (or menu item) per person, and a two-hour limit when it is busy on weekends and holidays. One also noted outside food isn't allowed, and that the notice is in several languages.
- Three writers got a free lemon sorbet (two) or lemonade (one) for posting a Naver receipt review; another knew about it but forgot.
1 more
- Seven posts say who they came with: friends in three, family in two (a sibling, a child), a spouse on a date in one, and one just says 'my companion'. Only one visit was with a child.

Parking

Assume there is no parking. Both writers who drove left the car at the nearby Seoul Forest Kolon Digital Tower and walked; one states the shop has no parking of its own. Another saw parking lines out front but thought parking there wasn't allowed. The 'no parking' line in other posts is copied from the map listing.

Where it is

We could not find this shop’s own listing on Naver Map, so the link searches for its Korean name around this spot instead.
Getting inside
| Toilet inside | 3 of 14 posts |
|---|---|
| Separate restrooms | 1 of 14 posts |
No visitor describes the floor layout; '1st floor' appears only in the address. Whether there is an upper or lower level, nobody said.
Nobody says whether there is a step at the entrance or whether a wheelchair or pram gets in. One visit was with a child, but the post doesn't describe the entrance.
Three posts say the toilets are inside the shop; one adds that they are separate for men and women and well kept. The other two did not say.
No one mentioned: Second floor · In a basement · Lift to the floor · Ramp at the door · Step at the entrance · Step-free access · Accessible toilet. That is not the same as there being none — it means we could not confirm it. Worth calling ahead, and do tell us: we will put it here.

Posts that followed a TV spot
Of the 15 posts we gathered, 1 went up on a single day right after a TV spot and show no sign of a visit. They retell the broadcast, so we left them out of the counts.
We do not discard them. That a TV spot produced a burst of posts is itself something worth knowing about a place, and a star rating will not show it.

What we do not know
- Posts mention a 5–6 minute walk from Seongsu Station, but none describes actually arriving by subway or bus — the directions are copied from the map. Two writers say it's hidden enough in the alley that you wouldn't stumble on it.
- No one checked the opening hours in person. Eight posts give them, all copied from map or search listings: seven say 11:30–22:00 daily, one says 10:00–22:00 with last order at 21:30. No closing day is mentioned; one writer warns of sudden closures and suggests checking Instagram.
- Two posts say it's pricey: one found the churronut expensive for its size and the drinks a little high, another balked at the Dubai chewy cookie. Prices for the same item vary slightly between posts — 4,000 vs about 4,200 won for the cinnamon churronut, 9,300 vs 9,500 won for the Basque cheesecake.
- The phone number 0507-1487-3365 appears in two posts, both copied from the map listing, as does the claim that reservations are taken. Nobody reports calling or booking.
- Haerye Coffee also runs pop-ups (Starfield Suwon, Sep–Dec 2026; Lotte World Mall) and branches in Anguk and Eungam; we did not count what those posts say about menus, prices or seating. One post says cocktails were added this April, but we have no earlier posts to confirm the change.
