Jjukkumi Dosa

쭈꾸미도사 Jjukkumi is webfoot octopus and a dosa is a Taoist master or sage, so the name reads roughly as 'the octopus master'; this is the Seongsu branch of a chain.

Compiled from 23 blog posts read in fullSources →

The Seongsu branch of an iron-plate webfoot octopus chain, on the ground floor at Achasan-ro 110 right by Exit 3 of Seongsu Station. You pick octopus with brisket, beef intestine or pork belly, staff stir-fry it on a big iron plate, and fried rice finishes the meal. Portions run 15,000 to 18,000 won, and many posts describe two or three people sharing a set that comes with beef pancake. We read 25 posts from 15 December 2025 to 1 October 2026; two were about other branches and set aside, and all 23 remaining describe an actual visit.

The values differ, but the periods they were written in do not overlap. This looks like a change over time rather than a disagreement, and the top row is the most recently reported. We did not confirm it with the restaurant.

What sets it apart

  1. Staff cook at your table. Nine posts said so: they cut the intestine, add glass noodles once things are nearly done, and tell you when it is ready; one writer noted you never have to stir it yourself. One post added that the intestine arrives already pre-grilled, so it does not take long.
  2. There is outdoor seating. Six posts mentioned it. One counted three tables, enclosed in vinyl and separated from the street; a December visitor said it was not cold at all, while a March evening visitor found it got chilly at night. One writer sat outside with their dog — the only post to say pets are allowed.
  3. Five posts found it close to Seongsu Station from experience — one minute's walk from Exit 3, which one writer appreciated on a rainy day. One post noted it is on the ground floor and easy to spot from outside.

Getting inside

In a basementyes 0 · no 1 (of 23 posts read)

Only one post said from experience that it is on the ground floor; the 'first floor' in the other posts is part of a copied address.

No one wrote about a step at the entrance or wheelchair or stroller access. That means we do not know, not that there is none.

No post said where the toilet is or whether it is split by gender.

No one mentioned: Second floor · Lift to the floor · Ramp at the door · Step at the entrance · Step-free access · Toilet inside · Accessible toilet · Separate restrooms. That is not the same as there being none — it means we could not confirm it. Worth calling ahead, and do tell us: we will put it here.

What we do not know

  • No post said they had to wait themselves. Two saw a queue form behind them — about three groups after 6:30 pm in one case. Two others said they got the last free table. No one mentioned a waiting area or whether bookings are taken.
  • Opinions on portions are split: two posts found them small (one group of four women wanted more), one found them generous, and one said it looked small but filled them up.
  • You choose a spice level. Two posts found it hot — even the medium level — while one said the level staff described as fire-noodle hot was much milder than that.
  • Four posts found the staff or owner friendly; one, from a year-end family dinner, felt the busy staff were curt and had to ask for a glass with what looked like chilli flakes on it to be replaced.
  • Opening hours have changed. Posts from December 2025 to January 2026 give weekdays 11:00 to 23:00 with a 15:00–16:30 break and Saturdays 12:00 to 23:00; posts from June 2026 give weekdays 11:00 to 22:30 (last order 21:40) with a 15:00–17:00 break and Saturdays 12:00 to 22:00 (last order 21:10). Seven posts say it is closed on Sundays. Most of this was copied from map listings, so check before you go.
  • Prices run from 15,000 won (plain) to 18,000 won (beef intestine) per portion, with sets from 43,000 won for two to 66,000 won for three. A family of three paid 59,000 won for three portions of the intestine version plus fried rice, drinks and noodles, and found it a bit pricey. One post said Seoul Pay is accepted; two mentioned a receipt-review event that gets you a drink or extra noodles.
  • Seven posts went with friends, three with family, three as a group of three or more, two as a couple. No one went alone, so we cannot say how it suits a solo diner.
  • Seven posts give the same phone number, 0507-1339-4991. No one said whether reservations are taken.
