ETF BAKERY
이티에프 베이커리 Itiepeu Beikeori ETF borrows the stock-market term exchange-traded fund, a nod to finance YouTuber Syuka, whose channel the posts tie to the shop; two posts spell it out as Express Trade Farm, meaning ingredients bought straight from farms to cut out middlemen.

A big bakery café tucked down an alley off Seongsuiro 16-gil, about a ten-minute walk from Exit 3 of Seongsu Station, built around a pond and garden (posts say the site was formerly Saladaeng Temple and Glow Seongsu). You load a tray, set it on the counter and a machine prices the bread; coffee is ordered at the same time, and you eat inside, out in the garden, or take it away. All 17 posts that discussed price called it cheap — in September a butter rice cake was 690 won (two per person), a chicken banh mi 3,980 won, a whole strawberry cake 21,980 won. The butter rice cakes go early: posts found the plain ones gone by a weekend noon, two left at 2:30 on a weekday, none at 11 a.m. The shop closed its Anguk branch (Bukchon-ro 3) on 22 March 2026 and reopened here on 4 April. We read 28 posts dated 17 March to 5 October 2026 and set aside 4 about the The Hyundai Seoul and Busan Station branches; 21 describe a visit, one of them to the old Anguk shop before the move.

The values differ, but the periods they were written in do not overlap. This looks like a change over time rather than a disagreement, and the top row is the most recently reported. We did not confirm it with the restaurant.
What sets it apart
- All 17 posts that discussed price called it cheap; none called it expensive. The comparisons are concrete: a 3,980-won ham-and-cheese ciabatta sandwich was 'half the price of Paris Baguette's', a 19,980-won peach cake tasted 'hotel-grade'. Prices are rising, though — see the changes below.
- The outdoor garden seating is what people come for: 11 posts mention it. Rain changes things — one July post says that in a downpour water dripped from the ceiling, about a quarter of customers moved, and staff came round to check whether anyone had got wet. Posts from April and 1 July sat indoors because of rain.
- Five posts sat down to eat, and an April post describes seating from single bar stools to tables for three or four. Weekends are tight: one September post found every seat taken, another left after tasting the bread because the inside was full, and an October post recommends weekend mornings or weekday daytime.
- Six posts describe the place as large. Large, but not quiet (below).
5 more
- Two posts say it is not quiet: a September post found it so crowded and loud it warned off first dates, and an August post was bothered by constant construction noise from nearby sites.
- Six posts say the bread is big: a cream bun bigger than a face or the size of a steering wheel, a sausage roll as long as a baguette, palm-sized madeleines.
- You pay by the tray: three posts describe setting it on a machine that reads the bread and totals the bill automatically.
- Three posts mention discounts: two note 2,000 won off coffee to take away (an Americano was 4,290 won in August), and one September post found a 30-percent-off cake promotion.
- Two posts say it is walkable from Seongsu Station, about ten minutes from Exit 3; others note it sits a little away from Seongsu's main strip.

Where it is

We could not find this shop’s own listing on Naver Map, so the link searches for its Korean name around this spot instead.
From the station
2 posts say it is walkable from the station.
Getting inside
| Second floor | yes 0 · no 2 (of 19 posts read) |
|---|
The address lists two floors, but two posts say the upper floor is not for customers — it is the bakery's working space, staff only even when the shop was packed.
No post describes the entrance level from experience. Two posts say the upper floor is off-limits, implying customers use the ground floor, but we do not know whether there are steps at the entrance.
No one wrote about a step at the door or getting in with a wheelchair or pushchair — that means we don't know, not that there is a problem. One post mentions a long wooden deck path from the entrance through the garden.
No post describes the toilets from experience; one copied info block lists separate men's and women's toilets inside the café, which we do not count.
No one mentioned: In a basement · Lift to the floor · Ramp at the door · Step at the entrance · Step-free access · Toilet inside · Accessible toilet · Separate restrooms. That is not the same as there being none — it means we could not confirm it. Worth calling ahead, and do tell us: we will put it here.

Posts that followed a TV spot
Of the 22 posts we gathered, 3 went up on a single day right after a TV spot and show no sign of a visit. They retell the broadcast, so we left them out of the counts.
We do not discard them. That a TV spot produced a burst of posts is itself something worth knowing about a place, and a star rating will not show it.

What we do not know
- The shop moved here. The Anguk branch (Bukchon-ro 3) closed on 22 March 2026 and this one opened on 4 April. One visit to the Anguk shop on 14 March (a 32-minute wait just to take away) is kept out of the counts for the current shop.
- Prices depend on when the post was written. Butter rice cakes were 490 won in April, 590 won in June–July and 690 won in August–September. The 1,190-won salt bread disappears from July posts, leaving only a premium version at 1,860–1,990 won. An Americano went from 3,980 won in April to 4,290 won in August. Check current prices on site.
- Waits were reported differently over time: on 25 April a post queued via Catch Table at about 4 p.m. behind five groups, roughly 30 minutes; on 31 July another walked straight in at weekend noon. Only these two posts mention waiting, so we do not know the current wait. More posts worry about the butter rice cakes selling out than about queues.
- Opening hours: five posts up to 1 July 2026 give 10:00–20:00 daily, eight from 21 July give 10:30–20:00 daily, so opening seems to have moved half an hour later in July. No post mentions a closing day, and most of these hours are copied from listings. One post notes you can't buy more once the bread runs out.
- Only one April post lists a phone number (070-4288-1269), and no post mentions reservations. Two posts say you must buy a drink to eat in, but both relay it as notice or hearsay rather than experience.
- The '45 percent of the price goes to ingredients' slogan, the cost-ratio posters and the Syuka-founded story are the shop's own messaging or hearsay; we report them but don't rely on them.
