Hurato Sikdang Seongsu-jeom
후라토식당 성수점 Hurato renders the Japanese 'furatto' (ふらっと) — on a whim, dropping in out of nowhere; a framed brand story in the shop says three young founders started it at Gyeongbokgung after a trip to Tokyo.

A gyukatsu and steak-set restaurant on the ground floor (unit R106) of the SK V1 Center building on Achasan-ro 17-gil in Seongsu. The beef cutlet arrives fried outside and rare inside, the steak only seared, and you finish both on a small grill at your seat; both sets were 19,500 won. Two posts say you order by QR code at the table. We read 27 posts dated 23 January to 2 October 2026; nine of them record eating at this branch (March to August 2026). Most of the rest were about other Hurato branches and were set aside. One August post remembers a larger shop in the building's basement before it moved up to the smaller ground-floor unit.

What sets it apart
- Five posts describe a mini grill at every seat — the meat is not fully cooked in the kitchen. Because you set the doneness yourself, one writer said rare-lovers and well-done people can eat together without arguing, and another who likes well-done said the same. One post notes they give you dedicated tongs rather than chopsticks.
- Four posts call the coating crisp and four call the meat juicy. One said the batter is thin enough not to mask the beef; two said the slices are thick. Sauces are soy, chilli and salt with wasabi — one writer liked salt best, another recommends wasabi plus a dip of salt.
- Two posts booked ahead. One found Naver booking only opens three hours before, so phoned instead, and the owner accepted a change from four people at 11:30 to five at noon. The other was a group of four who booked before a job interview. Two posts give the same phone number, 0507-1339-5742.
- Three posts went as a group — a team of four, a manager treating five colleagues, a company lunch. One each went alone, as a couple, and with a married couple of friends. Two posts found it nearly full at lunch (around 11:45, a weekday).

Two posts say you can park in the same building's basement; one valued getting 90 minutes in parking-starved Seongsu. A third post's copied info block also says 90 minutes free after eating.

Where it is

We could not find this shop’s own listing on Naver Map, so the link searches for its Korean name around this spot instead.
Getting inside
| In a basement | yes 0 · no 2 (of 9 posts read) |
|---|
None of the posts from people who went say whether there is a step at the entrance or whether a wheelchair or pushchair can get in — unknown, not absent.
Nobody said whether the toilet is inside the restaurant. 'Separate men's and women's toilets' appears only in one post's copied info block, so we did not count it.
No one mentioned: Second floor · Lift to the floor · Ramp at the door · Step at the entrance · Step-free access · Toilet inside · Accessible toilet · Separate restrooms. That is not the same as there being none — it means we could not confirm it. Worth calling ahead, and do tell us: we will put it here.

Posts that followed a TV spot
Of the 11 posts we gathered, 2 went up on a single day right after a TV spot and show no sign of a visit. They retell the broadcast, so we left them out of the counts.
We do not discard them. That a TV spot produced a burst of posts is itself something worth knowing about a place, and a star rating will not show it.

What we do not know
- An August 2026 post says the shop used to be a large space in the building's basement and is now on the ground floor, about a quarter to a third smaller. Nobody said when it moved; check-in addresses already show the ground-floor unit from April 2026. Two posts state the ground floor first-hand.
- Opinions on price split two to two: two posts found it pricey (one joked it cost a fortune), two found it fair value. A set meal is 19,500 won; one post said the menu runs 10,000–19,500 won.
- Two posts list opening hours, both copied from info blocks, and they disagree: a July 2026 post says Mon–Sat 11:00–21:30 with a 15:00–17:00 break and closed Sundays; an August post says weekdays 11:00–21:30 and weekends 11:30–21:30. Check Sunday opening before you go; a June post noted the break time had recently changed.
- Only two posts mention waiting: one walked straight in; the other showed seats for waiting customers and a queue system and said only that there may be a wait at weekends and mealtimes. Nobody recorded how long they waited.
- No post from a visitor describes walking from a station or bus stop; one only said it sits awkwardly between Konkuk Univ., Seongsu and Children's Grand Park stations.
