Cafe

HARU Coffee House

하루커피하우스 Haru Keopi Hauseu Haru is Korean for 'a day', so the name reads 'A Day Coffee House'; it replaced the shop's earlier name, Haru & One Day.

Compiled from 6 blog posts read in fullSources →

A café on the ground floor of a red-brick building at 32 Seongsui-ro 7-gil in Seongsu-dong. Coffee and drinks run 6,000 to 8,000 won and cakes 12,000 to 14,000 won, and many posts photograph the shaped desserts (a house, a mango, the shop emblem). A February 2026 post says it soft-opened then under a new name and in a new spot, having been Haru & One Day before. We read 9 posts from February to September 2026; 7 describe actually going and eating.

Counted from what bloggers wrote in their posts; we did not confirm it with the restaurant. Where the values differ, it may be a change over time rather than a disagreement, so we show when each one was written.

What sets it apart

  1. Of five posts that discussed prices, three called it expensive and one called it reasonable. The reasonable verdict came at the February 2026 soft opening; the three complaints are from August onward, and prices did rise in between: americano from 5,500 to 6,000 won, matcha cream latte from 7,000 to 7,500 won.
  2. Four posts describe the seating: plenty of seats, an interior split into two rooms, and (at the soft opening) two- and four-person tables plus a bar counter. One post also noted outdoor seats and big windows in the brick front.
  3. Two posts mention a review event that gives out a house-shaped keyring; one noticed its door is shaped like a cup.

Posts saying you cannot1 of 6 posts

One post found no parking at the door and used a paid lot nearby. Another post's 'no parking' line was copied from a listing, so we did not count it.

Getting inside

In a basementyes 0 · no 1 (of 6 posts read)

One post describes walking in through a glass door at street level. The upper floors are offices; nobody mentioned any other seating floor.

Nobody wrote about a step at the entrance or getting in with a wheelchair or stroller. That means we don't know, not that it's fine or not.

One post says there is a men's toilet and a shared toilet, both clean. Nobody said whether they are inside the café or outside it.

No one mentioned: Second floor · Lift to the floor · Ramp at the door · Step at the entrance · Step-free access · Toilet inside · Accessible toilet · Separate restrooms. That is not the same as there being none — it means we could not confirm it. Worth calling ahead, and do tell us: we will put it here.

Posts that followed a TV spot

Of the 8 posts we gathered, 2 went up on a single day right after a TV spot and show no sign of a visit. They retell the broadcast, so we left them out of the counts.

We do not discard them. That a TV spot produced a burst of posts is itself something worth knowing about a place, and a star rating will not show it.

What we do not know

  • Return visits split: two posts said once was enough, one was on a repeat visit. One post found the room plain.
  • Prices rose between February and August 2026: the signature dessert went from 13,000 to 14,000 won, and the dessert line-up changed, with mango and vanilla-house cakes replacing February's emblem tart and blueberry cake. A drink plus a cake comes to roughly 18,000 to 20,000 won in the posts.
  • Only one post mentions waiting: no line on a weekday around 5 p.m. But two posts found desserts sold out by then. Nobody wrote about weekend lines.
  • The soft-opening post says it was told seating is limited to two hours. That is hearsay, so we did not count it, and no later post says whether it still applies.
  • Only one post gave directions: a seven-minute walk from Exit 4 of Seongsu Station on Line 2. Nobody mentioned buses.
  • Who people came with doesn't add up to a pattern: one post ate alone, and a friends' outing post had no section we could tie to this café.
  • Three posts list opening hours as 10:00 to 21:00 daily, all copied from a listing; during the February 2026 soft opening it was 11:00 to 19:30. No post mentions a closing day.
  • The only phone number, 010-2990-9303, was copied into a single post; nobody said whether bookings are taken.
  • The February 2026 post says the café was previously called Haru & One Day and has moved from its old spot. None of the posts we read cover the old location.
