Cafe

HAHAHA SEONGSU

하하하성수 Hahaha Seongsu Hahaha is simply the Korean written laugh, 'ha-ha-ha', and Seongsu is the neighborhood the cafe sits in.

Compiled from 15 blog posts read in fullSources →

Hahaha Seongsu is a large cafe on the ground floor of a red-brick building at 389 Ttukseom-ro, near Ttukdo Market; three posts say it is about a ten-minute walk from Seongsu Station exit 3. People come for New York-style banana pudding cake served in big cups, in six flavors at 8,500 won each, along with signature coffees such as a latte dusted with black pepper. It also sells wine and champagne, with bottles discounted before 4 p.m. Two people sharing one pudding with two drinks spend about 20,000 won. We read 30 posts dated 17 August to 5 October 2026. We set aside 12 that only matched because 'hahaha' is a laugh; of the 18 about this cafe, 16 describe a visit.

Counted from what bloggers wrote in their posts; we did not confirm it with the restaurant. Where the values differ, it may be a change over time rather than a disagreement, so we show when each one was written.

What sets it apart

  1. Space is what people mention most. Of the 12 posts that talk about the room, 10 call it spacious, and several point specifically to the wide gaps between tables. One likened it to the old warehouse cafes Seongsu used to be full of. Posts describe videos projected on one wall and camping-chair seats along the windows.
  2. All 6 posts that mention portions say they are big. One says a single pudding could pass for a meal if you ate it alone; another, after pudding plus cream lattes, said they had gone well past their sugar limit.
  3. Dogs are a regular sight. Five posts either saw dogs inside or came with their own; one regular says they have been coming since their dog was palm-sized and has filled the stamp card several times.
  4. Six posts note 40% off bottles of wine and champagne before 4 p.m.; one gives Cruset Blanc de Blancs at 21,000 won before 4 and 35,000 after, bottles only. None of the visitors actually say they ordered alcohol.
2 more
  1. A pillar is covered in signatures, which 4 posts describe as celebrity autographs. Fans rent the space for idol birthday events: one weekend visitor arrived on a day booked by fans of SEVENTEEN's S.Coups, and another found a fan event for a male idol under way.
  2. It works for laptops: 2 posts found power outlets under or at every table, and 2 saw the wi-fi notice.

Parking

4 posts say you can park. None say you cannot.

Posts saying you can park4 of 15 posts

There is free parking behind the building. Of the 6 posts that mention parking, 4 describe it first-hand and 2 copy the cafe's notice. You move a traffic cone marked HAHAHA yourself and park; spots cannot be reserved, so it only works if one is free. One visitor guessed it holds five or six cars.

Getting inside

In a basementyes 0 · no 2 (of 15 posts read)

No one says whether there is a step at the door or whether they came in with a wheelchair or stroller. That means we don't know, not that there is no step. Two posts confirm it is on the ground floor, and one only says the door is unusual.

No one says whether the restroom is inside the cafe. Separate men's and women's restrooms appear only in one post's copied listing.

No one mentioned: Second floor · Lift to the floor · Ramp at the door · Step at the entrance · Step-free access · Toilet inside · Accessible toilet · Separate restrooms. That is not the same as there being none — it means we could not confirm it. Worth calling ahead, and do tell us: we will put it here.

Posts that followed a TV spot

Of the 17 posts we gathered, 2 went up on a single day right after a TV spot and show no sign of a visit. They retell the broadcast, so we left them out of the counts.

We do not discard them. That a TV spot produced a burst of posts is itself something worth knowing about a place, and a star rating will not show it.

What we do not know

  • Some posts look like one campaign. Eight posts from 18 August to 12 September 2026 end with the same five hashtags, yet only 2 of them disclose sponsorship and the rest say nothing. One other post says it received a free voucher. That may explain why the praise is so uniform.
  • All opening hours are copied from listings. Of the 10 posts that give them, 8 say 11:00-20:00 on weekdays and 12:00-20:00 on weekends, and 5 add last orders at 19:30. One says 11:00-20:00 daily and one gives 11:00-20:00 with no days. Only one mentions closing days, copying 'none'. We don't know how regular customers are handled on fan-rental days.
  • Prices barely vary across posts: pudding cake 8,500 won, Americano 4,500, espresso cream latte 5,800, ades 5,800. Only the pepper coffee differs, with two visitors paying 6,200 won and one post copying another site listing 5,800. These are cafe prices, not the cost of a meal.
  • Five posts copy the phone number 0507-1338-8437. No one says whether you can book a table; posts only mention the space being rented out for events.
  • No post mentions queuing or waiting. One visitor got a window seat on a weekday afternoon and another recommends it for people who would rather not queue, but nobody describes a weekend crowd.
  • Posts that say who they came with are 6 couples or spouses and 2 people who drove. None came with friends or with children, so we can't say how it works for kids.
