Haedam is a pork-belly house inside the Seongsu 1-cha Daewoo Apartment shopping arcade at 143 Dongil-ro, the building with the big sauna sign. At lunch it serves set meals like jeyuk stir-fried pork (10,000 won), pollack stew and braised tofu; in the evening you grill fresh pork belly (16,000 won per 180 g), gochujang pork belly (17,000 won per 180 g) or frozen belly yourself at the table. Six posts photographed the side dishes, and three were told that radish salad, bean sprouts and kimchi are fixed while the rest change daily. We read 21 posts from February 2025 to September 2026; 11 are about this restaurant and 9 describe an actual meal (February 2025 to February 2026). Prices only appear in posts from the first half of 2025.

Counted from what bloggers wrote in their posts; we did not confirm it with the restaurant. Where the values differ, it may be a change over time rather than a disagreement, so we show when each one was written.

What sets it apart

  1. There is a group room in the back. Three posts mention it — one described a private room with a door that closes, another said it seats more than ten. Three posts also note two- and four-person tables plus group seating.
  2. Two posts call the dining room large and open, one saying it suits a work dinner. Two posts also call it clean; one noted that, unusually for a barbecue place, it was not smoky.
  3. Two posts found the portions generous: jeyuk for two that looked like three, and gochujang pork belly in long, large strips.
  4. You grill the meat yourself on a burner at the table. One post found the grill already set up; another said the owner and staff kept checking the gochujang pork so it wouldn't burn and scraped the plate clean between rounds.

The prices here are what bloggers wrote down in their posts, and they may have changed since. Check Naver Place for the current menu and prices. This list is not a menu board — it counts what bloggers actually ordered and ate. Check on Naver Place

Parking

1 posts say you can park. None say you cannot.

Posts saying you can park1 of 7 posts

One post actually parked: down at the building's second basement level, a guard hands you a ticket with your entry time written by hand, and two hours were free. Four other posts just copied a 'parking available' line, which we did not count.

Getting inside

In a basementyes 0 · no 1 (of 7 posts read)

Only one post described the floor from experience — ground level of the arcade. Others just say you walk a short way into the big building with the sauna sign.

No one wrote about steps at the entrance or getting in with a wheelchair or stroller. That means we don't know, not that there's a problem.

No one described the restrooms from experience. 'Restroom in the arcade outside' and 'separate men's and women's' appear only in copied info blocks, so we don't rely on them.

No one mentioned: Second floor · Lift to the floor · Ramp at the door · Step at the entrance · Step-free access · Toilet inside · Accessible toilet · Separate restrooms. That is not the same as there being none — it means we could not confirm it. Worth calling ahead, and do tell us: we will put it here.

Posts that followed a TV spot

Of the 9 posts we gathered, 2 went up on a single day right after a TV spot and show no sign of a visit. They retell the broadcast, so we left them out of the counts.

We do not discard them. That a TV spot produced a burst of posts is itself something worth knowing about a place, and a star rating will not show it.

What we do not know

  • Six of the nine meal posts (February to May 2025) share a template: the keyword 'Seongsu lunch' in every title, a block of hours, phone and parking up top, and the same 'domestic Korean pork only' line. None disclose sponsorship, but they may be paid promotion. Three posts are passing mentions in office workers' diaries.
  • Six posts list opening hours, all copied blocks. Four say weekdays 11:00–22:00 with a 15:00–17:00 break, and five say closed Sundays. Saturday closing time varies — 21:00 in two, 22:00 in one, 17:00 in one — and one February 2025 post says it opens at 10:00. Check before you go.
  • No post described the walk from a station. 'Ten minutes from Konkuk Univ. Station exit 1', '882 m', and a map from Seongsu Station exit 2 are copied directions.
  • No one wrote about waiting. Posts say it was busy with office workers, but nobody queued. One post booked ahead and found the table already set.
  • Few posts say who they came with: one calls it a favourite spot for work dinners, another eats lunch here with coworkers. Several posts suggest it would suit group dinners, but that's a guess.
  • Four posts copied the phone number 0507-1358-6842. One post booked ahead, but nobody explained how reservations work. No post after June 2025 gives prices, so we don't know current ones.
