GRAZ COFFEE LAB

그라츠커피랩 성수점 Geuracheu Keopi Raep Seongsu-jeom Graz is the Austrian city; one post relays the shop's own line that it reinterprets a Graz feeling for Seoul, and 'coffee lab' is meant literally.

Graz Coffee Lab Seongsu is a cafe on the ground floor of the KIMG Building at 67-16 Achasan-ro, between Seongsu and Ttukseom stations. People come for the six 'signature drops' (small cream-topped drinks, 5,900 won each) — usually as a sampler of three in shot glasses for 6,900 won — and a croissant served with dipping cream (4,400–4,500 won). An americano is 3,900 won. We read 27 posts dated 9 September to 4 October 2026 and set aside 11 that were about other places. The remaining 16 all describe a visit, written between 9 and 23 September, shortly after opening; 12 of them ordered the sampler.

Counted from what bloggers wrote in their posts; we did not confirm it with the restaurant. Where the values differ, it may be a change over time rather than a disagreement, so we show when each one was written.

What sets it apart

  1. You walk from the subway. Eleven posts said it is close to Seongsu or Ttukseom station; the times they gave were 4, 8 and 8 minutes from Ttukseom and 5, 6 and 7 minutes from Seongsu. One post gives turn-by-turn directions from Ttukseom exit 4 and Seongsu exit 1, and one notes it is a fair way from the main cafe street.
  2. The floor-to-ceiling glass is what people notice first. Nine posts wrote about sunlight through the windows; one said a side window was thrown open so it felt like sitting on a terrace indoors, and another walked in through the open doors.
  3. Seating is a mix of two- and four-tops, sofas and a central shared table. Nine posts described it; one counted a six-seat group table and about six four-tops with generous spacing. Four posts saw people working on laptops or holding meetings. One sat in a showroom-like back area (shoes on) and said the chairs were far more comfortable than they looked.
  4. You can order at the kiosk by the entrance or at the counter inside. Seven posts mentioned the kiosk (one called it a tablet); one said the kiosk listed far more items than the counter, and another missed the tablet by the door and ordered at the counter.

  1. Six posts called it quiet, usually because it sits one lane off Seongsu's busy streets; one noted the room has little echo. All of them, though, were written in mid-September just after opening, and one put the calm down to the place not being well known yet.
  2. The drops are sweet: nine posts said so, and the one who had the black-sesame drop found it on the sweet side. By contrast, a few posts said the croissant cream and the vanilla-bean latte were not very sweet.

Parking

2 posts say you cannot park. None say you can.

Posts saying you cannot2 of 16 posts

There is no parking. Two posts said so in their own words and two more carried a copied 'no parking' line. One post notes the SK V1 Tower car park right opposite charges 1,500 won per 30 minutes with no validation, and the Seongsu 2-ga 3-dong public lot is 1,800 won an hour.

One post said in its own words that the cafe is on the ground floor. Nobody said whether there is a step at the door or whether a wheelchair or pushchair gets in — that is unknown, not absent. Since the toilets are on basement level 1, we also don't know whether there are stairs or a lift.

There is no toilet inside the cafe. Two posts said you use the building's shared toilets on basement level 1; one adds that you go out and left around the building, and that the women's side had two stalls and was well kept.

No one mentioned: Second floor · Lift to the floor · Ramp at the door · Step at the entrance · Step-free access · Accessible toilet. That is not the same as there being none — it means we could not confirm it. Worth calling ahead, and do tell us: we will put it here.

What we do not know

  • No post mentions waiting; one simply says it was not crowded yet. Every visit we read was between 9 and 23 September, right after opening, so we don't know whether there is a wait on weekend afternoons now.
  • No post clearly says it was a visit with friends. Three went as a couple, two went alone and one went with her mother.
  • Nine posts give the same hours — 08:00–20:00 on weekdays and 11:00–18:00 at weekends — all copied from the shop's listing. None mentions a regular closing day; three carry a notice that it closed for Chuseok on 25–26 September. One writer dropped in at the 8 a.m. opening before an appointment.
  • Prices are from the September 2026 menu: americano 3,900 won, latte 4,700, a drop 5,900, the sampler 6,900. Two posts give 4,500 won for the croissant with cream and one gives 4,400. Two posts called it cheap for a Seongsu cafe; a drink and a pastry come to about 10,000 won per person. Three posts mention a free squishy toy for posting a receipt review.
  • Five posts list the phone number 02-462-2024. No post says first-hand whether you can book; one carries a copied line saying Naver reservations are available.
  • Of the 16 visits, three disclose sponsorship (one says the shop provided the items; two use sponsored or reviewer-programme hashtags), two say they paid themselves, and eleven say nothing. All 16 fall within two weeks, 9–23 September, and seven share the same stock phrase and hashtag set, so we read them as possibly commissioned launch posts. Things the staff told writers — that the pastries are baked in-house, that the mugwort comes from Gimhae — we treat as relayed claims, not evidence.
