Gangdajim Samgak-gimbap Seongsu-jeom

강다짐 삼각김밥 성수점 Gangdajim is a native Korean word for eating rice on its own, without soup, water or side dishes — the name of a chain that sells made-to-order rice triangles.

Compiled from 8 blog posts read in fullSources →

The Seongsu branch of Gangdajim, a rice-triangle chain, at 18 Achasan-ro 7-gil. It makes rice triangles to order, boxes each one, and also sells tteokbokki, noodles and chicken — takeout and delivery only, with nowhere to sit. We read 26 posts from May 2025 to September 2026; 8 describe going to this shop, and all eight took their food away. Recorded prices: extra-topping tuna-mayo 2,700 won, extra-topping spicy pork 3,000 won, icy kimchi cold noodles 8,500 won (June 2026). In February 2026 gogi-buchujang was renamed Gangbibim and the basic Gangdajim triangle gained beef, pickled radish and seaweed. Fourteen posts were about other branches or a May 2026 pop-up booth and were set aside.

Counted from what bloggers wrote in their posts; we did not confirm it with the restaurant. Where the values differ, it may be a change over time rather than a disagreement, so we show when each one was written.

What sets it apart

  1. There is nowhere to eat in. Three posts say so outright, and a sponsored post describes a small room with just space to order and wait. A June 2026 post calls the front room clean and modern, but does not say anyone sat down.
  2. You order at a kiosk: five of the eight visits mention it, one noting an option to leave out cucumber. One visitor pre-ordered pickup through a delivery app and collected it straight away.
  3. Two posts paid with vouchers — the 2025 consumer-support payment in July 2025 and Onnuri vouchers in January 2026; one notes the support payment only worked for in-store orders.

Getting inside

The address says ground floor, but no visitor described the floor or any steps.

No one mentioned a step at the door or wheelchair or stroller access — we don't know, not that there is none.

No post mentions a toilet; as a takeout-only shop, visitors likely never needed one.

No one mentioned: Second floor · In a basement · Lift to the floor · Ramp at the door · Step at the entrance · Step-free access · Toilet inside · Accessible toilet · Separate restrooms. That is not the same as there being none — it means we could not confirm it. Worth calling ahead, and do tell us: we will put it here.

Posts that followed a TV spot

Of the 12 posts we gathered, 4 went up on a single day right after a TV spot and show no sign of a visit. They retell the broadcast, so we left them out of the counts.

We do not discard them. That a TV spot produced a burst of posts is itself something worth knowing about a place, and a star rating will not show it.

What we do not know

  • Opening hours appear in six posts, all copied from listing blocks. Five, from May 2025 to February 2026, say 9 a.m.–9 p.m. and closed Fridays; one June 2026 post gives Sun–Thu 9–9, Fri 9–4, Sat 9–3. The hours seem to have changed in between, but no post records an announcement.
  • Prices are patchy: only two single rice-triangle prices (2,700 and 3,000 won, June 2026), plus one January 2026 post that paid 3,800 won for two. No post totals a meal.
  • Portions split: one post found the cold noodles very filling, while two found the rice triangles and chicken modest — one suggests buying two triangles.
  • Only one post mentions waiting — delivery riders and customers queueing — and none gives a time.
  • Two posts put it a 4–5 minute walk from Seongsu Station exit 1; nobody wrote about buses.
  • Company is barely mentioned — one post bought dinner with her partner or brother; as a takeout shop, few posts say who they were with.
  • Five posts copy the phone number 02-462-0498, but none says whether phone orders or reservations are taken; the one visitor who pre-ordered used a delivery app.
  • Four February 2026 posts describe the menu renewal in identical phrases and order; none is marked sponsored, but they read like one brief, so treat their taste notes as a single voice. The premium single-variety rice claim is the chain's own wording.
