HBC coffee

HBC 커피 Eichibissi Keopi HBC stands for Hitch Bicycle Club, after Hitch, a bicycle and camping goods brand whose gear is on sale inside.

Compiled from 6 blog posts read in fullSources →

A cycling café in a Seongsu side street, right where the Han River bike path exits at the Ttukseom Cheonggu Apartment ramp. The blue sign reads "coffee and bicycle," and Hitch-brand caps, socks and gloves are sold inside. All six posts had coffee: latte in three, americano in two, espresso in one; there is also green juice and a few house-baked sweets. Three posts stopped in mid-ride, and two describe going again and again. We read 6 posts from March 2025 to September 2026, all six from actual visits.

Counted from what bloggers wrote in their posts; we did not confirm it with the restaurant. Where the values differ, it may be a change over time rather than a disagreement, so we show when each one was written.

What sets it apart

  1. Seating comes in several forms. Four posts describe where they sat: a large bar table, group tables, single seats facing the window, and, in two posts, old wooden church pews. One says the table in front of the coffee bar is wide and comfortable enough for a laptop.
  2. There is outdoor seating. Three posts mention a terrace or sitting outside; one drank green juice out there.
  3. It gets good light. Three posts mention the windows: big glass that keeps it from feeling cramped, sun through tilted awning windows casting leaf shadows on the long wooden table, and how relaxed it feels when the sun comes in.
  4. One post saw a customer's dog inside: a Shiba that walked over to the shop's water bowl on its own. Another post lists dogs as allowed, but that line was copied from an info block, so we did not count it.

We could not find this shop’s own listing on Naver Map, so the link searches for its Korean name around this spot instead.

Getting inside

Toilet inside1 of 6 posts

No post described the floor or any steps on the way in from experience; the "1st floor" in the address is just copied text.

We don't know whether there is a step at the door or whether a wheelchair or stroller can get in. That is not a no; nobody wrote about it.

Only one post (March 2025) says there is a restroom inside. Nobody wrote whether it is gender-separated or how big it is.

No one mentioned: Second floor · In a basement · Lift to the floor · Ramp at the door · Step at the entrance · Step-free access · Accessible toilet · Separate restrooms. That is not the same as there being none — it means we could not confirm it. Worth calling ahead, and do tell us: we will put it here.

What we do not know

  • The posts describe arriving by bike path only. None explains how to get there by subway or bus.
  • No post mentions waiting. One says it was fairly busy even at an off-hour on a weekday, but not that anyone queued.
  • Two posts went with friends and one with a husband; the other three don't say. We can't tell how it suits solo visits or children.
  • Four posts give the same hours, 8:00 to 18:00 and closed Tuesdays, but all four copied them from info blocks. Nobody mentions a break or last order time.
  • Not one post gives a price. One says it is cheap, and that is all, so we can't tell you what a coffee or a visit costs.
  • The phone number 0507-1349-7643 appears in the info blocks of two posts. Nobody says whether reservations are taken.
