HAU
돼지공탕 하우 Dwaeji Gongtang Hau Dwaeji means pork; Hau (夏雨) means 'summer rain', which the house ties to the Korean sense of a hot, clear broth feeling 'refreshing'.

Hau is the pop-up counter of a clear pork-soup house, set in the 'special pop-up zone' of the 4th-floor food court at Musinsa Megastore, 62 Seongsu-ro. The original Seongsu shop (Achasan-ro 7-gil) and a Jeongja branch in Bundang are separate. The clear gongtang set is 15,000 won, the spicy one 16,000 won and the seaweed-soup set 17,000 won; most people added three big water-parsley-and-hijiki dumplings (9,000 won) and dried radish with herring roe (5,000 won). Sets come on one tray: soup over barley rice, radish kimchi, the radish-and-roe side, salted shrimp, pickled chili and a slice of orange. You order at a kiosk and collect when the buzzer goes. We read 30 posts from 22 September to 5 October 2026; 27 describe a visit. 21 of them had the clear gongtang set and 20 had the dumplings.

Counted from what bloggers wrote in their posts; we did not confirm it with the restaurant. Where the values differ, it may be a change over time rather than a disagreement, so we show when each one was written.
What sets it apart
- Seating is not the problem here. Thirteen posts call the food court spacious and eight mention the floor-to-ceiling windows; several point out window-facing bar seats for solo diners, and two mention an outdoor terrace. But the space belongs to the whole Musinsa food court, not to Hau — you sit wherever you like among customers of the other counters.
- Ordering is by kiosk — eight posts say so. You pick up your tray when the buzzer goes and return it to the drop-off after; water, cutlery and napkins are self-serve. Three posts note the food court is cashless. One writer said the food was ready by the time she came back from the restroom.
- The spicy gongtang is hotter than its name suggests. Seven posts that ate it called it spicy — a touch hotter than Shin Ramyun, said two; one writer found sweat forming at her temples halfway through. One spice-shy writer alternated three spoons of the clear soup with one of the red. Another was told by staff it is about Shin Ramyun level.
- The point writers agree on most: it is pork soup that does not feel greasy. Nine posts say it is not oily or heavy, and seven say there is no porky smell. Almost everyone mentions the meat sliced paper-thin. Several warn that if you want a thick, milky Busan-style gukbap, this is something else.
2 more
- Twenty posts ordered the dumplings, and eight mention the juice running out when cut. Size always comes up: one writer said each was as big as her hand, another reckoned one equals about six ordinary dumplings.
- Solo diners are the largest group: five posts ate alone, two came as couples, one with a child and one with a friend. Several noted other people eating alone, and the one-person tray makes it easy.

Parking
2 posts say you can park. None say you cannot.

Two posts parked: one in the building's B2–B6 garage and called it easy, another said parking was relatively easy. The rates (3,000 won for the first 30 minutes, 1,000 won per 10 minutes, two hours free with 50,000 won of purchases) come from copied info, and one copied block contradicts it.

Where it is

We could not find this shop’s own listing on Naver Map, so the link searches for its Korean name around this spot instead.
Getting inside
| Lift to the floor | 3 of 27 posts |
|---|
Every post places it inside the 4th-floor food court. Nobody mentions seating on any other floor.
Nobody wrote about steps, wheelchairs or strollers. Three posts mention taking or seeing the lift to the 4th floor, and one took the escalator. That is not the same as saying there are no steps — no one said either way.
Only one post mentions the restroom: by the right-hand entrance of the food court. Whether that is inside or just outside is unclear. Separate men's and women's restrooms appear only in copied listing info.
No one mentioned: Second floor · In a basement · Ramp at the door · Step at the entrance · Step-free access · Toilet inside · Accessible toilet · Separate restrooms. That is not the same as there being none — it means we could not confirm it. Worth calling ahead, and do tell us: we will put it here.

Posts that followed a TV spot
Of the 28 posts we gathered, 1 went up on a single day right after a TV spot and show no sign of a visit. They retell the broadcast, so we left them out of the counts.
We do not discard them. That a TV spot produced a burst of posts is itself something worth knowing about a place, and a star rating will not show it.

What we do not know
- '475 m, five to seven minutes from Seongsu Station exit 3' appears only in copied listing info. No one wrote that they walked it.
- No one reported a wait. One post says there is less queueing than at the original shop, and visits around 2 pm on a Saturday, 5 pm on a Sunday and on weekday evenings all found it quiet. Nobody went at a weekday lunch peak, so we don't know about that. One writer saw a food-court notice asking diners not to linger at busy times.
- Fifteen posts give the hours as 11:00–21:00 with last order at 20:00, but mostly from copied listing info; one says 11:00–20:00. Two copied the original shop's hours (with a 15:00–17:30 break) and we did not count them; two say this counter has no break. As a pop-up, one writer heard it would run until next January — we don't know how long it will stay.
- Prices mostly agree, with two splits: the large clear gongtang is 18,000 won (+3,000) in two posts and 17,000 won in one; the spicy set is 16,000 won in nearly every post and 15,000 won in one. A set plus dumplings comes to 24,000 won. One writer felt it was on the pricey side for gukbap.
- Eleven posts give the phone number 0507-1466-1104 (one copied a different number along with the original shop's details). No one wrote whether it takes reservations; as a kiosk counter in a food court, nobody mentioned needing one.
- Most of the 27 visit posts appeared within about ten days, carry the same search phrases ('Seongsu station gukbap', 'Seongsu Korean food') and walk through the same three dishes in the same order. Only one discloses sponsorship, but they read like one campaign, so we leaned on facts that repeat across posts — prices, ordering, seating — rather than on praise.
