Compiled from 22 blog posts read in fullSources →

A Chinese restaurant on the second floor of Achasan-ro 13-gil 37 in Seongsu, sharing the floor with the ramen shop Marujemyeonso. Named after the old name of Daegu, it is known for bulgogi jjamppong (9,000 won) — noodle soup topped with torch-seared beef — and Daegu-style junghwa bibimbap. Jjajangmyeon is 7,000 won and a mini tangsuyuk 10,000 won. Eleven posts mention free self-serve rice from a cooker, five a basket of yogurt drinks by the counter. We read 30 posts from September 2025 to August 2026; 22 describe eating here.

Counted from what bloggers wrote in their posts; we did not confirm it with the restaurant. Where the values differ, it may be a change over time rather than a disagreement, so we show when each one was written.

What sets it apart

  1. Eight posts call it cheap; none call it expensive. One was surprised the priciest dish was 25,000 won, and prices noted on a 2023 visit (7,000 won jjajangmyeon, 9,000 won bulgogi jjamppong) match those in 2026 posts.
  2. Seven posts describe the broth as spicy. One warns it is hotter than expected; another says it made them sweat a little.
  3. Three posts say the food comes fast, one timing its jjamppong at about five minutes. None say it was slow.
  4. Lunch is busy. Three posts waited or say there is a lunchtime queue; one party of four walked straight in; one found it full but did not wait long. No post gives a wait in minutes. One says weekends are easier.
2 more
  1. Five posts came as a group, mostly coworkers at lunch; two with friends, one as a couple, one with a husband.
  2. Two posts describe an open kitchen where you can watch the wok and the torch flames.

Getting inside

Second floor6 of 22 posts

Six posts note it is on the second floor, two mention climbing stairs. One says the right-hand door upstairs looked so dark and quiet they thought it was closed.

No post says whether there is a lift to the second floor or a step at the door — not that there isn't, just that no one wrote it. Two posts mention taking the stairs.

No post says where the toilet is or whether it is separated by gender. We don't know.

No one mentioned: In a basement · Lift to the floor · Ramp at the door · Step at the entrance · Step-free access · Toilet inside · Accessible toilet · Separate restrooms. That is not the same as there being none — it means we could not confirm it. Worth calling ahead, and do tell us: we will put it here.

Posts that followed a TV spot

Of the 26 posts we gathered, 4 went up on a single day right after a TV spot and show no sign of a visit. They retell the broadcast, so we left them out of the counts.

We do not discard them. That a TV spot produced a burst of posts is itself something worth knowing about a place, and a star rating will not show it.

What we do not know

  • Saltiness comes up: two posts found dishes too salty (one left over half the fried rice), and one relays a companion calling the jjajang sauce salty.
  • Only two posts mention staff: one found the manager irritable and won't return; one couldn't tell whether they were friendly in the lunch rush. None say staff were friendly.
  • Four posts are repeat visitors; two say they won't go back — one over saltiness, one over service.
  • No post describes getting there by subway or bus. The line '742 m from Seongsu Station exit 2' is copied listing data, so we don't rely on it.
  • Opening hours appear in six posts, all copied from the listing. Four agree on weekdays 11:00-22:00, Saturdays 11:00-15:00, break 15:00-17:00; one gives a 21:00 weekday close and one lists Monday-Saturday to 22:00. Four say closed Sundays. Check before a Saturday visit.
  • Prices come from menu boards copied into posts and show no change between 2023 and 2026, but no post prices dishes such as naeng jjamppong, yakiudon or kkanpunggi.
  • Two posts give the phone number as 0507-1303-1658; one writes 0507-1030-1658. 'Reservations: yes' appears in two posts but is copied listing data; no one wrote about booking.
