Daenak Sikdang
대낚식당 The posts read the name two ways: a sign at the door says 'catch the jackpot' (daebak-eul nakja, nak meaning to fish or catch), and one post says it is built from daechang (beef large intestine) and nakji (small octopus), the two main ingredients.

Daenak Sikdang sits in an alley off Yeonmujang-gil, a 3–5 minute walk from exit 4 of Seongsu Station. It serves gopdoritang (beef intestine and chicken hotpot) and daenaksae jeongol (intestine, octopus and shrimp), at 29,000 won for two or 39,000 won for three, with a bowl of seaweed-flake rice per person included. At lunch many people come alone for 9,000–10,000 won rice bowls, and there is a separate bar counter. Ordering is by QR code at the table. We read 30 posts published between 3 August and 5 October 2026; 25 of them describe an actual visit (diary entries go back to March 2026).

Counted from what bloggers wrote in their posts; we did not confirm it with the restaurant. Where the values differ, it may be a change over time rather than a disagreement, so we show when each one was written.
What sets it apart
- Thirteen posts say the portions are large. A couple who added a large rice bowl to the two-person hotpot wrote there was so much intestine they got sick of it; a family of two adults and two children who ordered three portions called the amount outrageous, and a group of four found three portions enough. One post disagreed: three hearty eaters found three portions slightly short to just right.
- No post calls it expensive; nine say it is cheap or good value. One couple paid 44,500 won for the two-person hotpot, a large rice bowl and udon noodles; a group of four ate three portions of hotpot plus a pork-jowl bowl for about 10,000-something won each.
- Nine posts say you order by scanning a QR code on the table; one adds that you pay separately at the counter on the way out. Several mention a card on the table explaining how to cook the hotpot, starting with turning the flame down once it boils.
- It is not counter-only: nine posts describe a solo bar counter alongside two- and four-person tables. Most tables seat two, though; one post counted about three four-tops, and a group of four had to push tables together because there is no group table.
4 more
- Seven posts put it 2–5 minutes on foot from exit 4 of Seongsu Station. One sponsored post gives directions: about 50 m straight from exit 4, then right at the Mega Coffee intersection and into the Rani Coffee alley.
- Three posts waited and two did not. One waited about ten minutes outside peak hours on a weekend, one recalls queuing in winter, and one was made to wait even with tables free. A Tuesday at 8 pm and a weekday lunch had no wait. One post saw a CatchTable waitlist kiosk at the door, and two arrived at the 11:30 opening to be first in.
- Five posts single out the size of the intestine pieces — 'king-size', 'so plump they bulge out the sides', 'the biggest I've had'. Two found no gamey smell. The claim that everything is trimmed and used the same day is the shop's own line, repeated by posts, so we did not count it.
- Heat is mostly moderate. One post clearly calls it spicy, two say it is not (one asked for extra chili peppers to make it hotter), and seven land in between — 'pleasantly sharp', 'about Shin Ramyun level'.

Where it is

We could not find this shop’s own listing on Naver Map, so the link searches for its Korean name around this spot instead.

Posts disagree on the floor. The registered address says ground floor, but four posts place it on the second floor (one mentions a staircase beside the sign) and one says it is 'ground floor, but more like 1.5'. None says basement.
No post mentions getting in with a wheelchair or stroller. One says you climb stairs beside the sign; none mentions a lift or ramp. That means nobody wrote about it, not that there is none.
Two posts say the toilet is inside; one notes it is a single unisex stall, so you wait outside until it is free. No post mentions an accessible toilet.
No one mentioned: Lift to the floor · Ramp at the door · Step-free access · Accessible toilet. That is not the same as there being none — it means we could not confirm it. Worth calling ahead, and do tell us: we will put it here.

Posts that followed a TV spot
Of the 26 posts we gathered, 4 went up on a single day right after a TV spot and show no sign of a visit. They retell the broadcast, so we left them out of the counts.
We do not discard them. That a TV spot produced a burst of posts is itself something worth knowing about a place, and a star rating will not show it.

What we do not know
- Three posts found the staff friendly; one complained of a very rude staff member. Another said that at a busy weekend lunch the kitchen seemed short-handed, and food and side-dish refills were slow.
- All 13 sets of hours are copied from the listing. Most agree on 11:30–22:00, closed Mondays. The weekday break ends at 17:30 in seven posts and 17:00 in two; six say there is no weekend break. One says the break applies every day, and one says weekends open at 15:00. Check before going.
- Ten posts give the phone number 0507-1377-5573; one gives 0507-1365-5561. Three copy 'no reservations' from the listing, while one says you can book or join the waitlist via CatchTable. No post actually made a reservation.
- Some posts look templated: four paste the same Instagram profile block, and two of them carry an identical list of TV appearances. One of these discloses it was sponsored. We treated the TV credits and the same-day prep claim as the shop's own promotion, not as evidence.
