Chinese

Cheonmihyang

천미향 Read as Sino-Korean, the name suggests 'heavenly taste and fragrance'; none of the posts explain it.

Compiled from 15 blog posts read in fullSources →

A large Chinese-Korean restaurant on the second floor of the House D Sejong Tower arcade, between Seongsu and Ttukseom stations. Lunch is jjajangmyeon at 8,000 won, ganjajang at 10,000 won and a daily-changing special; groups and evening diners use the private rooms for sweet-and-sour pork (small 23,000, medium 38,000) and set courses. Posts agree it closes on Saturdays. We read 30 posts from October 2024 to September 2026; 16 record an actual meal. Five posts about a same-named restaurant in Gwangjin-gu (near Children's Grand Park) were set aside. Two posts say it used to be called Kanji Gogo.

Rows without a count: 5 of 11 posts.

Counted from what bloggers wrote in their posts; we did not confirm it with the restaurant. Where the values differ, it may be a change over time rather than a disagreement, so we show when each one was written.

What sets it apart

  1. There are private rooms at the back. Eleven of the sixteen visit posts mention them — one describes a room seating ten or more (Dec 2024), another counts about three (Jul 2026). One writer saw two office teams having lunch in the rooms; another booked at short notice and got a group table instead. One post only thought there seemed to be a room-like space.
  2. Tea is served instead of water, according to six posts, and it changes with the season: posts from November 2024, May 2025 and February 2026 got warm jasmine tea; August and September 2026 posts got it iced. One writer ordered a soft drink expecting hot tea, then found the tea was cold.
  3. There is a self-service bar in the middle of the hall. Six posts say they helped themselves there to pickled radish, kimchi, zha cai, raw onion, sauces, scissors and small plates; several note that the basic side dishes also come to the table.
  4. No post calls it expensive; five say it is reasonable for Seongsu, one noting it suits a budget of under 10,000 won for lunch. One table ordered platter jjajang, ganjajang, seafood udon, kkanpunggi and Sichuan sweet-and-sour pork for 109,000 won in total.

Parking

Posts saying you can park2 of 15 posts

Two posts actually parked, in the building's basement garage: one found spaces not plentiful, the other found it clean and roomy. The 1.5-hour lunch / 2.5-hour dinner validation figures are copied info; one writer reminds you to validate when paying.

The restaurant is upstairs on the second floor. Seven posts say so; three say the building has both outdoor stairs and a lift, while one only mentions the stairs at either end of the building. Two posts use the church across the road as a landmark.

Nobody wrote about a step at the entrance or getting in with a wheelchair or pram — we don't know, which is not the same as there being none. Three posts say the building has a lift.

Only one post mentions the toilets: building facilities just to the left outside the restaurant, separate for men and women, and clean. No other post covers them.

No one mentioned: Ramp at the door · Step at the entrance · Step-free access · Accessible toilet. That is not the same as there being none — it means we could not confirm it. Worth calling ahead, and do tell us: we will put it here.

Posts that followed a TV spot

Of the 24 posts we gathered, 9 went up on a single day right after a TV spot and show no sign of a visit. They retell the broadcast, so we left them out of the counts.

We do not discard them. That a TV spot produced a burst of posts is itself something worth knowing about a place, and a star rating will not show it.

What we do not know

  • Waiting depends on the hour. One post says there is a queue at noon; one walked straight in at 11:25 a.m.; one found it quiet at 7 p.m. No post gives a waiting time. A remark that there is 'always' a queue at noon was hearsay and not counted.
  • No post records an actual walk from the station. Figures like 280 m, three, five or ten minutes from Seongsu Station exit 1 all sit in copied info lines, so we don't rely on them.
  • Opening hours come almost entirely from copied info lines. Most agree on weekdays 11:00-21:30, Sundays 11:00-20:30, a 15:00-17:00 break and Saturdays closed, but one post gives an 11:30 opening and one (Oct 2024) a 15:00-16:30 break. Call ahead on 02-3499-4488; one group booked its set course by phone.
  • Some posts were not counted. Two analysis-style posts by one blogger in April 2026 call their own prices estimates and list hours of 11:00-21:00 daily, contradicting everyone else. Two posts from February and August 2026 share the same sentences in the same order, suggesting a common template; they ordered different dishes so we counted both visits, but treat their shared lines as one voice.
