BakeryCafe
CAT&F
캣앤에프 Kaetaenepeu CAT&F pairs 'cat' with an F the shop leaves open — fish, food, friends, farmer, fresh — and its cat mascot is stamped on the breads and even the bread tongs.

A bakery café on Yeonmujang-gil 29-9 in Seongsu, a short walk from Seongsu Station. You pick breads from the counter with cat-paw tongs — corn salt bread and chewy corn bread made with Gangwon waxy corn, cat- and fish-shaped buns — and eat them with coffee inside or at the tables out front, or take them away. A piece of bread ran 3,000–4,500 won. We read 26 posts from December 2024 to April 2026; 25 describe an actual visit. One April 2026 post found the sign switched to a 'Myeongin Salt Bread' pop-up.

Counted from what bloggers wrote in their posts; we did not confirm it with the restaurant. Where the values differ, it may be a change over time rather than a disagreement, so we show when each one was written.
What sets it apart
- Much of the trade is takeaway: 13 of the 25 visit posts took bread home or noted how many customers did. Several mention reheating times for each bread posted at the counter, and two who ate in found the bread disappointing because it was cold.
- The room is small. Twelve posts say there is seating, four say it is not spacious; one counted about seven or eight tables, another 'not more than ten'. Three posts found the tables full or down to the last one.
- There are tables outside the door: eight posts mention them, one writer sat there, and one winter post noted a heater set out.
- On weekends and holidays, eating in requires one drink per person — five posts say so. One weekend visitor ordered drinks despite buying plenty of bread; two weekday visitors ate bread with no drink.
6 more
- The baking area is in view: five posts watched bread being shaped or baked beside the showcase. That it bakes twice a day is something one writer was told, not something we count.
- Most found it reasonably priced: six posts said not expensive, two said pricey for what you get, one said slightly above a regular salt bread but fair for the size.
- Opinions differ on the corn salt bread's saltiness: two posts found it too salty, one 'insanely salty'; the rest described it simply as sweet-salty.
- Four posts found the staff friendly — explaining reheating times, the owner recommending a bread — and one (May 2025) called them really unfriendly.
- No one queued: three posts say they did not wait at all. But three found the tables full or nearly so.
- Three posts say it is close to Seongsu Station, two of them about five minutes' walk from Exit 4.

Only one post says in its own words that there is no parking and to use a nearby lot; seven others repeat 'no parking' from a copied info block, which we don't count.

Where it is

We could not find this shop’s own listing on Naver Map, so the link searches for its Korean name around this spot instead.

Getting inside
| Toilet inside | yes 0 · no 2 (of 25 posts read) |
|---|---|
| Separate restrooms | 1 of 25 posts |
No post describes the floor from experience; beyond the '1st floor' in the address, we don't know.
Nobody mentions a step at the door, stairs, or getting in with a wheelchair or stroller. That means unknown, not absent.
The toilet is not inside the shop: two posts place it outside, down the gap between the building and a wall; one says you take a fish-shaped key from the counter and that it is split by gender.
No one mentioned: Second floor · In a basement · Lift to the floor · Ramp at the door · Step at the entrance · Step-free access · Accessible toilet. That is not the same as there being none — it means we could not confirm it. Worth calling ahead, and do tell us: we will put it here.

Posts that followed a TV spot
Of the 26 posts we gathered, 1 went up on a single day right after a TV spot and show no sign of a visit. They retell the broadcast, so we left them out of the counts.
We do not discard them. That a TV spot produced a burst of posts is itself something worth knowing about a place, and a star rating will not show it.

What we do not know
- Most posts don't say who they came with: three with friends, one with a husband, one with a sister, one alone.
- Twenty posts give hours of 10:00–20:00 and two say it never closes, mostly copied from info blocks. The dine-in cutoff shifts by period: 19:30 in March 2025, 19:00 in four posts from July to November 2025, back to 19:30 in three posts from February to April 2026. Takeaway runs to 19:50 in most.
- Prices have risen: the corn salt bread went from 4,000 won (through September 2025) to 4,500 (from February 2026); the chewy corn bread from 3,000 (January 2025) through 3,300 and 3,500 to 4,000 (April 2026). Only one post gives a total — four breads and an iced americano for under 20,000 won in January 2025.
- Eight posts list the phone as 0507-1480-4325; one April 2026 post gives 0507-1488-3430. Nobody says whether it takes reservations.
- One April 2026 post found the sign changed to 'Myeongin Salt Bread' from 1 April, selling four dip-style salt breads as a set (11,000 won at launch, then 12,000). With no later posts, we don't know how long the pop-up runs or whether the corn breads are still sold. A July 2025 post says the shop was closed for renovation a few months earlier; no one says what changed.
- Claims that gluten-digesting probiotics make the bread easy on the stomach, and that a 'master baker' makes it, are the shop's own messaging and we don't count them. Two posts point out the master title is a private association's certificate, not the state-recognised one.
