bottari taco

보따리타코 Bottari Taco Bottari is a bundle of belongings tied up in a wrapping cloth; the shop sells its own scarves for tying one.

Compiled from 18 blog posts read in fullSources →

A taco bar on the ground floor of a red-brick building down an alley from Seongsu Station exit 1 (27 Achasan-ro 7ga-gil). Several posts say it was opened in summer 2026 by the people behind Seongsu pizzeria Izza. Tacos come two to a plate on house-made black blue-corn tortillas, 13,000 won (chicken) to 15,000 won (fish), each themed to a country — beef for Mexico, gochujang pork belly for Korea, fish for Thailand, chicken for Italy. You order by QR code at the table and eat with gloves on. We read 30 posts from 20 August to 6 October 2026: 18 describe a visit, 8 are introductions such as announcements for an October pop-up, and 4 turned out to be about other places.

Rows without a count: 7 of 10 posts.

Counted from what bloggers wrote in their posts; we did not confirm it with the restaurant. Where the values differ, it may be a change over time rather than a disagreement, so we show when each one was written.

What sets it apart

  1. Twelve posts mention the open kitchen. The bar runs along it, and those who sat there describe watching the tacos being built while they waited. Three posts counted the seats, each slightly differently: bar plus four two-tops and one four-top; bar plus four two-tops and one group table; six bar stools plus two-tops and one six-top.
  2. Eleven posts mention the outdoor tables in front. One team dinner of eight walked in without booking and pushed the outside tables together — and got loud enough that police came over from the apartments across the alley. The terrace faces a residential street.
  3. Eleven posts ordered through the QR code on the table. Several mention a die with country pictures next to it, for rolling when you can't decide; one notes you pay after eating, not up front.
  4. Two posts brought their own bottle. A team dinner with tequila saw a 20,000-won-per-bottle corkage line on the last menu page; another post had corkage waived through a Naver booking promotion, and swapped a glass with the owner for the house wine.

  1. Four posts got a plate of nachos for leaving a Naver receipt review; a fifth remembers nachos as a freebie.

Parking

1 posts say you cannot park. None say you can.

Posts saying you cannot1 of 18 posts

Eight posts touch on parking, but only one from experience: they couldn't find the public lot and used a nearby paid one. The other seven repeat info-box lines such as 'no parking, use the public lot nearby' — and one info box says the opposite, that the shop has parking.

Getting inside

Separate restroomsyes 0 · no 1 (of 18 posts read)

No post says whether there is a step at the door or whether a wheelchair or pushchair gets in — we don't know. One post found the automatic-door button oddly placed at standing hand height; another says a sign out front points round the corner to the real entrance, which is easy to miss. One post confirms it is on the ground floor.

Only one post mentions the toilet: a single unisex one inside the shop.

No one mentioned: Second floor · Lift to the floor · Ramp at the door · Step at the entrance · Step-free access · Accessible toilet. That is not the same as there being none — it means we could not confirm it. Worth calling ahead, and do tell us: we will put it here.

Posts that followed a TV spot

Of the 26 posts we gathered, 8 went up on a single day right after a TV spot and show no sign of a visit. They retell the broadcast, so we left them out of the counts.

2026-10-032 posts in one day

We do not discard them. That a TV spot produced a burst of posts is itself something worth knowing about a place, and a star rating will not show it.

What we do not know

  • Heat is disputed: three posts found things spicy (the gochujang pork, the jalapeño on the beef, the chilli crunch on the shrimp), while one said the gochujang pork tasted more of soy than chilli. Two say the Southeast Asian spicing on the fish taco is strong.
  • None of the visit posts describes queuing. The one that calls the wait 'fierce' is sponsored and doesn't describe waiting itself, and the one claiming four groups and 25 minutes on a weekend lunch lists a set menu, prices and hours that match no other post, so we didn't count it. Two posts booked ahead; one mentions a seated waiting spot at the entrance.
  • All ten posts that give opening hours copied them from an info box, and they differ slightly. Weekdays 11:30–22:00 is consistent. Seven say weekends open at 12:00, three say 11:30 every day. Seven give a 15:00–17:30 break; two say it starts at 15:30 on weekends, one says 15:00. The 14:00 last order looks like the lunch cut-off; nobody gives the evening last order.
  • Most posts spent around 30,000 won for two plates of tacos and a drink between two. Two posts called the prices casual or fair for Seongsu; one warned the bill climbs once you add plates. Prices are as of September 2026 and identical across posts.
  • Five posts give the same phone number, 0507-1306-0727. One post booked through Naver, another just says they booked, and one info box lists CatchTable as well.
  • Six posts announce 'Matari', a pop-up with Mamalee Pub & Market held here from 6 to 11 October 2026. They repeat the same announcement and aren't visits; the menu and hours for those days (11:30–15:00, 17:30–22:00) are not the regular ones.
