본지르르 성수 Bonjireureu Seongsu Bonjireureu blends bonjil (essence) and beonjireureu (glossy, polished-looking); one post relays that the name means getting the basics of drinks, food and a comfortable room right while also looking good.

Bonjireureu Seongsu is a café that takes up a whole converted house on Gwangnaru-ro 4ga-gil, north of Seongsu Station. It now has indoor seating from the basement to the third floor, a fourth-floor rooftop, and outdoor seats on the ground floor. The most-ordered items are the matcha latte, made with the house's own matcha (six posts), and the americano (five). On the autumn 2026 menu an americano is 5,800 won, a matcha latte 6,800 won, and terrines and cakes 7,000–9,500 won. Several posts note many guests settling in with laptops. We read 30 posts from 18 September to 5 October 2026; 18 describe a visit here. We set aside 11 that were about the Seochon, Sinsa or Suwon branches or only linked to this one.

Rows without a count: 7 of 7 posts.
Counted from what bloggers wrote in their posts; we did not confirm it with the restaurant. Where the values differ, it may be a change over time rather than a disagreement, so we show when each one was written.
What sets it apart
- Nine posts call it spacious, but that does not mean free seats: weekend visitors found it about 80 percent full from basement to fourth floor and hard to find a seat, while one weekday visitor got a seat easily.
- Four posts mention outdoor seats on the ground floor. A parent with a stroller found them a comfortable place to sit with a baby, though the sweet cinnamon roll attracted small flies. One post went up to the fourth-floor rooftop and found it empty on a hot, sunny day.
- Sweetness depends on the item. Three posts said something was not sweet: the matcha latte twice, the carrot cake once. One post enjoyed how sweet the kouign-amann was. Another post said you can ask for the matcha latte without syrup.

We could not find this shop’s own listing on Naver Map, so the link searches for its Korean name around this spot instead.
Getting inside
| Second floor | 9 of 15 posts |

| In a basement | 7 of 15 posts |
| Lift to the floor | yes 0 · no 1 (of 15 posts read) |
| Step-free access | 1 of 15 posts |
Each floor feels different; nine posts went up to the second floor or higher. One found the basement quiet, the ground floor full, the second floor the liveliest and the third chatty but with free seats; another noted sofas and tables on the second floor and a quieter third floor.
The café has grown. Its registered address lists the basement, first and second floors, but a 30 September 2026 post says a third floor had just opened, and a 27 September post went up to a fourth-floor rooftop. One post also says the bread, such as croissants and pain au chocolat, was not there on an earlier visit. No post says exactly when either change happened.
There is seating in the basement; seven posts mention it. Opinions differ: one post found it hushed enough for studying and another the best floor for laptop work, while one found it windowless and stuffy and moved upstairs.
Only one post describes getting in: a parent got a stroller into the ground floor but noted they could not take it down to the basement or upstairs. No post mentions a step at the door or a lift. That does not mean there is no other way up, only that nobody wrote about it.
One post says the restroom is clean. Nobody says which floor it is on or whether it is split by gender, so we do not know.
No one mentioned: Ramp at the door · Step at the entrance · Toilet inside · Accessible toilet · Separate restrooms. That is not the same as there being none — it means we could not confirm it. Worth calling ahead, and do tell us: we will put it here.

Posts that followed a TV spot
Of the 16 posts we gathered, 1 went up on a single day right after a TV spot and show no sign of a visit. They retell the broadcast, so we left them out of the counts.
We do not discard them. That a TV spot produced a burst of posts is itself something worth knowing about a place, and a star rating will not show it.

What we do not know
- The note that it is about 600 m from Exit 1 of Seongsu Station is copied from info blocks. No post describes the walk from the station; one says they walked on to Seoul Forest afterwards.
- No post says they queued to get in. Several say seats were the problem instead: the first and second floors were full, and the sofas are hard to get at weekend peaks. Two posts used this café to wait out the queue at Marione, a pizza place nearby.
- Seven posts give the same opening hours, 11:00–23:00 Sunday to Thursday and 11:00–midnight on Friday and Saturday, though most copied them from info blocks. Nobody mentions a closing day or a last-order time.
- Prices follow the menu copied in an October 2026 post: americano 5,800 won, basque cheesecake 7,500, cinnamon carrot cake 9,500. A Seongsu café list post gives lower figures (5,500, 7,000, 9,000), but it is undated, so we do not treat the gap as a price rise. A drink and a cake come to roughly 12,000–16,000 won.
- Three posts give the same phone number, 0507-1327-8615. None says whether the café takes reservations.
