Damgeum is an Italian-style café and kitchen on a side street in Seongnae-dong, across from the north gate 2 of Olympic Park. It serves gelato and espresso drinks alongside pasta, lasagna and panini. In 2026 posts a two-flavour gelato cup is 7,000 won, panini 12,000–14,000 won, pasta 18,000–22,000 won and a two-person set 52,900 won. Several posts describe ordering at a kiosk by the door and having food brought to the table. We read 30 posts from December 2025 to October 2026; 27 describe an actual visit. - There is terrace seating out front. Ten posts mention it; one counted about four outdoor tables in October 2026. A July post found the terrace empty in the summer heat, and another notes the shopfront is a folding door that can be opened.

Parking is the small space under the ice-cream-cone sign to the right of the shop. Three posts saw it themselves: one says it fits up to four cars double-parked across two bays, another found it full. Copied listings disagree between two and four spaces. Many point to the paid Olympic Park north gate 2 car park when it is full.

No post describes the floor level or any stairs from experience; only the address says ground floor. We don't know.
No post mentions an entrance step or getting in with a wheelchair or pushchair. One saw a customer with a baby in a pushchair but did not say how they got in. That means nobody wrote about it, not that there is a problem.
No post says whether the toilet is inside or separated by gender; one merely mentions going to it. We don't know.

Of the 24 posts we gathered, 2 went up on a single day right after a TV spot and show no sign of a visit. They retell the broadcast, so we left them out of the counts.
We do not discard them. That a TV spot produced a burst of posts is itself something worth knowing about a place, and a star rating will not show it.

What we do not know
- Three posts say portions are on the small side, the lasagna and the gelato tiramisu among them. One found the two-person set more filling than expected. An October 2026 post adds that the tables are too small for many plates.
- Only one post actually waited: three groups ahead at 12:30 on a public holiday, about ten minutes. The December 2025 post had no wait, and another got the last four-person table at 11:30 on a weekday. The line that weekends always have a queue appears word for word in two posts and is hearsay, so we did not count it. Waiting is handled on a CatchTable device out front.
- Listings put it about 15 minutes on foot from exit 3 of Dunchon-dong station. Two posts found the walk fine; one came by subway, found it farther than expected and recommends the bus.
- Fourteen 2026 posts give opening hours, all copied from listings: twelve say 10:00–20:00 on weekdays and 09:00–21:00 at weekends, last order five minutes before closing. One says 11:00–21:00 on weekdays and one says 10:00–20:00 daily. The December 2025 post lists Mon–Thu 11:00–21:00, Fri 11:00–22:00, Sat 10:00–22:00, Sun 11:00–21:00, so the hours appear to have changed since. No post mentions a closing day.
- Prices come from posts dated July to October 2026. A meal for two is 52,900 won for a set; one post estimates 26,000–30,000 won per person. In December 2025 the other two-person set was 53,900 won.
- Two posts went with a reservation, and one was given a window seat because of it. Mentions of CatchTable and Naver booking are copied from listings. Many posts give the phone number 0507-1377-6317, but nobody says whether you can book by phone.
- Only one post says dogs are welcome: a long-time local who brought their own dog and says many customers do.
- More than ten posts from July to October 2026 carry the same three keyword phrases in their titles or hashtags (Olympic Park café, Seongnae-dong café, Olympic Park Western-food date), which suggests commissioned reviews. Posts dated 29 July and 13 September 2026 share whole sentences, so we did not count the overlapping parts. Two posts say they paid themselves; one appears to have been comped. The Italian government certification and celebrity-visit claims are the shop's own promotion, repeated by bloggers, and we did not treat them as evidence.
