A branch of the Yukjeon Gukbap chain, a 3–5 minute walk from Exit 1 of Hongik University station. The namesake bowl is red beef soup topped with egg-battered fried beef (11,000 won); there is also a tripe-and-intestine soup called gophaejang (13,000 won), a mild bone soup (11,000 won), sets that add yukjeon or meatballs (17,000 won), buckwheat noodles and pancakes fried to order. You order on a tablet at the table and refill side dishes at a self-serve bar. Every post said it is open around the clock. We read 30 posts dated 2 August to 16 October 2026; one was about the Suwon branch and was set aside, leaving 29 visits. Many posts from late September to mid-October share near-identical wording.

Only one post described the building, calling it a single-storey building on the main road; the ground-floor address is from the listing.
No post mentioned steps at the entrance or whether a wheelchair or stroller can get in. We don't know.

What we do not know
- Opinions on the yukjeon's thickness split: two posts called it thick, one called the slices on the noodles thin.
- How hot the red soups are is disputed: three posts said not spicy, two said spicy, three hedged (one compared it to Shin Ramyun).
- This is one branch of a chain; three posts compared it with other branches, and the post we set aside was about the Suwon branch.
- Every post said 24 hours, mostly copied from the listing; individual visits are recorded after midnight, at 9 pm, 3 pm and 11 am. Three posts noted it closes on the main holiday days, and two mentioned it was shut on Chuseok day, 25 September 2026.
- A bowl of soup runs 10,000–14,000 won and the sets 17,000–20,000 won. An August 2026 post warned that the wall menu was printed long ago and the tablet shows the current prices.
- No post mentioned queuing — that means nobody wrote about it, not that there is never a wait. One post found it quiet at 11 am but full by noon; another found it packed at 9 pm.
