Yukjeon Gukbap's Hongdae branch is a 24-hour soup-and-rice house on the ground floor of Eoulmadang-ro 140, by Exit 8 of Hongik Univ. Station. Beef soup is 10,000 won, bulgogi in an earthen pot 12,000 won and the tripe stew 13,000 won; sets with a plate of beef pancakes (yukjeon) or meatballs run 17,000 to 20,000 won, and even the plain soups and noodles come with sliced yukjeon on top. You order and pay on a tablet at the table and top up side dishes at a self-serve bar. Three posts note it is one branch of a chain. What sets it apart
- Expect a wait at mealtimes. Eight posts say there was a queue: on a weekday afternoon, at lunch with a sign-up list, just after 6 pm when it was nearly full, and one that walked straight in but found a long line at the door on the way out. Five mention waiting seats or a waiting area at the entrance, where you write your name on a list. Four more only say a wait is possible, including one that came a little early and walked right in.
- Eleven posts noticed many foreign diners — one regular wrote it was hard to spot Koreans at all, another counted more than half the room at 1:30 pm. One post says the table tablet can switch languages.
- Ten posts describe the side-dish routine: kimchi, cubed radish kimchi and pickled onion arrive first, and refills are self-serve. Several say the bar also holds young-radish kimchi; one notes it sits on the left on the way to the kitchen and that foreign guests seem to miss it.

It is at street level: four posts describe it as a ground-floor shop on the main road, one placing it in the building with Yeokjeon Halmeoni Maekju. No one mentions stairs, a basement or an upper floor.
We don't know whether there is a step at the door or whether a wheelchair or stroller fits; posts say ground floor, but none mention the threshold.
We don't know whether the toilet is inside the shop. The single post that mentions it says it is separated by gender and fairly clean, but not where it is.

- All 21 visit posts that give hours say open 24 hours; 10 of them add two short breaks, 10:30–11:00 and 15:00–15:30, and the rest leave the breaks out. Most of this is copied from the listing.
- Prices agree across posts except yukjeon bibim makguksu: 11,000 won in an April 2026 post, 12,000 won on a menu copied in September. With one post on each side we can't tell a rise from a typo. Four posts call the prices easy (two people under 30,000 won); one found the 14,000-won hambak gomtang not exactly cheap.
- Nine posts give the phone number 0507-1496-2278; one each gives 02-336-2275 and 0507-336-2275. Only one post copies a note about Naver booking, and no one reports reserving.
- Posts of a similar shape cluster in September–October 2026: two share sentences word for word, and the house line about re-boiling the broth several times a day recurs in four.
