Yorugasaku
요루가사쿠 Read as Japanese, yoru ga saku is roughly 'the night blooms'; none of the posts explains the name, and one writer openly wonders what it means.

A Japanese sake bar up a flight of stairs in an alley off Wausan-ro 29ma-gil, five or six minutes' walk from Hongik University Station. The address says ground floor; the writers say second. Ten posts ordered the aged-sashimi platter (19,500 won for one, 39,000 for two, 58,000 for three) and ten the tamago sando (14,000 won); mackerel bar sushi and monkfish fritters go with sake or shochu by the 90 ml glass (9,000–12,000 won) or Suntory draft (9,000 won). One couple paid 51,000 won for the two-person platter, a glass of sake and a ginger ale. We read 14 posts from 3 July to 5 October 2026, and all 14 describe an actual visit.

Counted from what bloggers wrote in their posts; we did not confirm it with the restaurant. Where the values differ, it may be a change over time rather than a disagreement, so we show when each one was written.
What sets it apart
- There is both a counter and table seating: seven posts mention tables besides the bar, three count two four-person tables, and one puts the counter at about eight seats. Six posts describe watching the chef slice fish from the counter.
- A small starter arrives once you order: eight posts mention it, a sesame cabbage salad from mid-July on and braised burdock in the 3 July post. Three writers were offered sweets on the way out.
- Four posts call the prices easy on the wallet; one says it is not cheap, though fair for the quality, and not a bargain spot.

Where it is

We could not find this shop’s own listing on Naver Map, so the link searches for its Korean name around this spot instead.

Getting inside
| Second floor | 5 of 14 posts |

| In a basement | yes 0 · no 7 (of 14 posts read) |
| Step at the entrance | 5 of 14 posts |
| Toilet inside | 5 of 14 posts |
The address says ground floor, but you climb stairs to get in. Five posts put the bar on the second floor and five describe walking up steps; one explains that the entrance is half a flight up the stairs on the left of the building, to the right of a café.
No one mentions a wheelchair, stroller or lift; five posts only say you climb stairs. That is not proof there is no other way in, just that nobody wrote about one.
The toilet is inside the bar, five posts say, and one contrasts it with the shared outside toilets common in Hongdae bars. Ten posts call the place clean, several mentioning the scent and music in the restroom.
Nobody says whether the toilets are split by gender; one post only calls it a private, single restroom.
No one mentioned: Lift to the floor · Ramp at the door · Step-free access · Accessible toilet · Separate restrooms. That is not the same as there being none — it means we could not confirm it. Worth calling ahead, and do tell us: we will put it here.

What we do not know
- Prices moved within months: the tamago sando was 13,000 won on 3 July and 14,000 from 19 July; the daily soup went from 3,000 to 4,000 won by 2 August; the mackerel bar sushi is market-priced and appears at both 25,000 and 20,000 won. The October post says the monkfish liver now comes on a maki roll instead of seaweed, with no price given.
- Ten of the 14 posts went up within five days (29 July–3 August 2026) using the same phrases and the same info block. Only one mentions sponsorship, but read them as a batch of commissioned posts. One post, an October repeat visit, says the writer paid.
- No one reports waiting. One weekday-evening visitor had the place to themselves; another, arriving at opening, saw guests keep coming in after. All of this is from the first month or two after opening, so we don't know how it is now. One writer booked through CatchTable.
- Eleven posts give the same hours, 18:00 to midnight Tuesday to Sunday, closed Mondays; five add a 22:30 last order. Most are copied info blocks. One post pasted in another restaurant's hours (11:00–22:00) and phone number, so we left it out.
- The phone number 0507-1383-7917 comes from three copied info blocks. Several posts say bookings go through CatchTable; no one mentions booking by phone.
