Watsso Hongdae is an all-you-can-eat beef place on the second floor of 20 Dongmak-ro 7-gil in Mapo, between Sangsu and Hapjeong stations. For 33,000 won per adult you get ribeye, flat iron, hanger and rib finger, a little of each per plate, refilled as you go; kimchi, perilla leaves, mushrooms and other sides come from a self-serve bar, and soybean stew is ordered separately. We read 15 posts from December 2024 to May 2026; 7 are about this place and 6 describe a visit. The other 8 are about Mongjubang, the bar on the ground floor of the same building, the basement venue Alive Hall, or a trip to a different beef buffet, and we did not count them.

What sets it apart
- Two posts noticed that most diners were foreigners. A September 2025 writer who used to come often said the crowd had shifted from Korean students to visitors speaking Chinese and English, to the point that they were the only Korean speakers; an April 2026 post saw the same on a Sunday evening.
- One post copied the house rules: a two-hour limit, last meat refill at 1 hour 30 minutes, no all-you-can-eat for a single diner, and one bowl of rice per person.

The restaurant is upstairs. Four of the six visit posts say so directly ("located on the 2nd floor", "just go up to the 2nd floor"), and one adds that a banner out front makes it easy to find. The same building has a bar, Mongjubang, on the ground floor and a music venue in the basement, so the street address alone can mislead.
No post says whether you reach the second floor by stairs or lift, or whether there is a step at the door. That means nobody wrote about it, not that there is none.
We do not know whether the toilet is inside the restaurant or separated by sex. The posts that discuss toilets are about the ground-floor bar or the basement venue, so we did not count them.

Of the 7 posts we gathered, 1 went up on a single day right after a TV spot and show no sign of a visit. They retell the broadcast, so we left them out of the counts.
We do not discard them. That a TV spot produced a burst of posts is itself something worth knowing about a place, and a star rating will not show it.

What we do not know
- Service splits two to two. Two posts say refills came quickly and without fuss; two say the staff were not friendly. An August 2025 writer was told only around the third refill that cuts cannot be chosen, felt judged at every refill after that, and said she would not return.
- No visit post describes walking from a station. The line "about 480 m from Sangsu Station exit 1" is copied text in an introductory post.
- No post mentions waiting or walking straight in; all the queue talk belongs to Mongjubang downstairs.
- Two posts give opening hours of 12:00 to 23:00, both in copied info blocks. Nobody mentions a break, last order or closing day.
- The adult price is 33,000 won in both August 2025 and April 2026. Nobody gives prices for the stew, steamed egg or drinks; one couple recalls paying about 71,000 won in total with stew.
- Only one post lists a phone number (02-336-7772), and none says whether reservations are taken.
