TEZUKURI
테즈쿠리 Tejeukuri Tezukuri (手作り) is Japanese for 'made by hand'; one post says a friend explained the name that way.
Compiled from 29 blog posts read in fullSources →
Tezukuri is a Japanese rice-bowl restaurant on the second floor of a building on Hongik-ro 5an-gil, a 5-10 minute walk from Exit 9 of Hongik Univ. Station. Bento, tendon and donburi are the core, with pasta, gnocchi and pizza alongside. The most-ordered dish is the steak bento (26,900 won), eaten in 18 of 29 visit posts; tendon runs 15,500 won and rice bowls 17,900-18,900 won. Twelve posts got a small bowl of curry free with the meal. We read 30 posts from Sept 9 to Oct 9, 2026, 29 of them actual visits; 7 disclosed sponsorship, 1 was a review-program visit, and 1 said the writer paid.

Counted from what bloggers wrote in their posts; we did not confirm it with the restaurant. Where the values differ, it may be a change over time rather than a disagreement, so we show when each one was written.
What sets it apart
- 24 posts said the portions are big. One called the steak bento nearly one and a half servings; a solo diner dropped an extra salmon salad after staff warned it would be too much alone, and still left some rice.
- 23 posts said the room is large. Several describe separate zones of two-tops, four-tops and long joined tables for groups; one said the seating goes on like a small maze. The 'up to 20 people' group figure comes from copied listing text.
- 8 posts said you order from a tablet or kiosk at the table. Cutlery, side plates and aprons are at self-service stations, and two posts mention a serving robot bringing water or food.
- 14 posts said the tempura is crisp; one noted the thin batter stayed good even after cooling.
1 more
- 7 posts said it is not expensive; one first thought it pricey but changed its mind after eating. No post called it expensive.

Where it is

We could not find this shop’s own listing on Naver Map, so the link searches for its Korean name around this spot instead.

Getting inside
| Second floor | 12 of 29 posts |
|---|---|
| Toilet inside | 6 of 29 posts |
| Separate restrooms | 3 of 29 posts |
The restaurant is on the second floor; 12 posts describe going up, 6 of them by the stairs.
We don't know about wheelchair or stroller access. Six posts walked up stairs and none mentions an elevator or entrance step; that means no one wrote about it, not that there is none.
6 posts said the restroom is inside the restaurant and 3 that it is split by gender; one placed the women's room mid-floor and the men's further in.
No one mentioned: In a basement · Lift to the floor · Ramp at the door · Step at the entrance · Step-free access · Accessible toilet. That is not the same as there being none — it means we could not confirm it. Worth calling ahead, and do tell us: we will put it here.

Posts that followed a TV spot
Of the 30 posts we gathered, 1 went up on a single day right after a TV spot and show no sign of a visit. They retell the broadcast, so we left them out of the counts.
We do not discard them. That a TV spot produced a burst of posts is itself something worth knowing about a place, and a star rating will not show it.

What we do not know
- No post describes queuing. Two booked ahead, and some noted a fair crowd at weekday lunch or dinner; we don't know whether peak times mean a wait.
- Hours: 23 posts give 11:30-22:00 daily and one gives 11:00-22:00, all copied from listings. Last order splits 15 to 2 between 21:10 and 21:00. One post says there is no afternoon break and one says open every day of the year.
- Prices mostly agree, with three exceptions: salmon bento 26,900 won in three posts versus 25,900 in one; steak tendon 15,500 versus 15,900; and one post put the steak bento at 29,900 won, though its stated total in the low 50,000s fits 26,900.
- The phone number 0507-1367-2707 appears in 15 posts. Listings say Naver booking is available, and two posts actually booked.
- Of 30 posts, 7 disclose sponsorship and 1 is a review-program visit. Undisclosed posts show signs of commissioned writing too: two share an identical 11-hashtag string, two carry half-deleted review-count widgets, and two different blogs sign as the same writer. One sponsored post still contains its writing brief and never says what was eaten, so we did not count it as a visit. All posts fall within a single month.
