Tamna Yukhae Hongdae
탐라육해 홍대점 Tamna is the old name of Jeju Island, and yukhae joins yuk (meat) and hae (sea) — the house serves beef tartare alongside raw seafood under a Jeju theme.

A Jeju-themed beef tartare and raw-fish bar on two floors at Dongmak-ro 9-gil 41, between Sangsu, Hapjeong and Hongdae. The draw is small, cheap plates — 100 g of tartare for 7,000–7,500 won, eight slices of flounder or salmon for 8,500 won — served on stone-shaped plates in dry-ice fog, and many posts came here as a second or third stop. We read 23 posts from 6 Jan 2025 to 4 Aug 2026; 19 describe a visit, and 2 were about the Konkuk branch and set aside. Since late March 2026 the check-in name reads Hongdae branch instead of Hapjeong branch; the address is unchanged.

The values differ, but the periods they were written in do not overlap. This looks like a change over time rather than a disagreement, and the top row is the most recently reported. We did not confirm it with the restaurant.
What sets it apart
- The front terrace is the most-mentioned feature, in 13 posts. Three winter posts (Jan–Feb 2025) describe it tented with heaters and as warm as indoors; one person ate alone out there.
- Nine posts mention free seaweed soup or blanched seaweed with chojang on arrival; three got refills, one about four times.
- Five posts ordered through a table tablet or kiosk; one says you carry the tablet to the counter to pay. One July 2026 post alone says they ordered from a paper menu through staff.
- Thirteen posts call it cheap. One was mixed, finding the 12,000-won live octopus pricey for its size. Three said portions are small, one said generous. Two mention a 15,000-won minimum (drinks excluded) on the first order.
1 more
- Four posts describe a receipt-review scratch card or roulette; one received a 50 g tasting portion of tartare.

Where it is

We could not find this shop’s own listing on Naver Map, so the link searches for its Korean name around this spot instead.

Getting inside
| Second floor | 12 of 19 posts |
|---|---|
| In a basement | yes 0 · no 4 (of 19 posts read) |
| Step at the entrance | 1 of 19 posts |
| Toilet inside | 1 of 19 posts |
| Separate restrooms | 1 of 19 posts |
Both floors are in use: 12 posts mention the upstairs, and 4 say they sat on the ground floor. Several note group tables upstairs, and two mention a separate private room. No post describes a basement.
No post says anything about step-free access or wheelchairs. One mentions stairs leading up to the entrance. We simply don't know.
Only two posts describe the toilets: one sat by a window table next to a clean restroom; another says women's is on the ground floor and men's upstairs. Other mentions come from copied amenity lists.
No one mentioned: Lift to the floor · Ramp at the door · Step-free access · Accessible toilet. That is not the same as there being none — it means we could not confirm it. Worth calling ahead, and do tell us: we will put it here.

Posts that followed a TV spot
Of the 21 posts we gathered, 2 went up on a single day right after a TV spot and show no sign of a visit. They retell the broadcast, so we left them out of the counts.
We do not discard them. That a TV spot produced a burst of posts is itself something worth knowing about a place, and a star rating will not show it.

What we do not know
- Only one post actually walked from a station (Hapjeong exit 3). The 6–8 minutes from Sangsu or 10–12 from Hongik Univ. figures elsewhere are copied directions.
- No post recorded a wait time. One went early on a weekday having heard weekends always have a queue; another booked via CatchTable for 5:30 on a Saturday and found it nearly empty.
- Opening hours appear in 14 visit posts, all copied: 12 say daily 4 pm to 3 am, while two March 2026 posts say 11 am to 5 am, and later 2026 posts return to 4 pm–3 am. One post lists a 10 pm last order. Several warn it may close early when ingredients run out.
- Prices drift between posts: 100 g of tartare at 7,000 won (Jan 2025, May 2026), 7,500 (Sep 2025) and 8,500 (one Apr 2025 post); flounder at 9,000 in one March 2026 post. The only bill total recorded is 37,700 won for two in May 2026.
- Nine posts list the phone as 0507-1404-1994; one gives a mobile number instead. Reservations are mentioned via CatchTable and Naver.
- None disclose sponsorship, but four posts read like templated promotional copy; we gave their superlatives no weight.
